Sephora Haul!

Just wanted to do a quick post on my latest Sephora haul. I am running out of my favorite liquid foundation Guerlain Meteorites Baby Glow. I pretty much use it every single day. The coverage is sheer but buildable and has 25 SPF coverage. My shade is 03 Medium. I was also running out of my Guerlain powder and decided to try something new. Sephora is currently sold out in the Meteorites Illuminating Powder compact all shades except for one. I'm sure they will restock soon though, it's an amazing powder. I'm kind of annoyed that when I was using it I accidentally had my brush too close to the compact and scraped it a little bit.

That black mark is from my brush. 😢
I use Light/2 Clair.

Also needed to replace my Beauty Blender. Does anyone else use these? I hate using my fingers and prefer a sponge. Some people swear by clean fingers is the better way to apply make up, but it's just easier for my to dab a sponge on my face. You do have to wash the Beauty Blender pretty often though. I think it's still worth it even so. Also got a free sample of Drunk Elephant's Protini Polypeptide Cream. So far it hasn't made me break out and I do enjoy the lightness of it. My current Clinique night moisturizer can feel a little too thick and heavy for summer time. I think once I run out of the sample I will buy a full sized jar. It's a little pricey, but I think worth it.

My favorite item of the whole lot is Laura Mercier's Caviar Eye Stick Eye Shadow in Rush. It's a light metallic shimmer in purple/red that's buildable. I never use eye shadows anymore. They take up too much time to get just right and I don't have much skill when it comes to applying make up. These sticks are amazingly easy to use. The magnetic pink is also very pretty and has a metallic glittery sheen to it, similar to rush. Beam is my least favorite and I might return it. It's too light for me.

I have not used the avocado hand mask yet, but I've been looking for something like this to use for the winters. They get dry super easily because of how much I wash my hands all day. I'm pretty excited to try this!

Hope everyone had an awesome weekend! Here's to another week. Oh and just to give you guys an update, I placed a semi large order on Lululemon. Hopefully will have some reviews next week!

  1. Oo! Sephora is my other weakness. I always end up ruining my makeup products from scraping them or denting the powder with my brushes or even fingernails. I've just come to terms with that.

    1. I'm usually pretty careful, but just annoyed that it happened already! I just got it! #firstworldproblem, I know. LOL!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
