Fit Review Friday! BlankNYC Moto Suede Jacket Burgundy

Happy Friday everyone! I'm about to pull the trigger on some Lululemon items I've been eyeing. I'm in dire need of some retail therapy from the last two weeks. Sherlock is still recovering from his MRI and spinal tap and we are still waiting for results to come in. The waiting is just so nerve wracking.

Here's a quick review on this amazing suede moto jacket I purchased last month. It's still on sale for 40% off at Nordstrom.

Being as petite as I am, it's always a challenge to find a jacket that really fits. This is my first suede jacket and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The suede is thick and soft. The quality is very nice for the price. It actually looks a lot more expensive than what it costs. The fit is casual, not too tight anywhere across the back, chest or shoulders. I've tried on some leather jackets where it is actually hard for me to zip up because of my short torso and to my dismay the only way to wear it is to leave the jacket unzipped. Balenciaga I'm looking at you!

I find this jacket to look very flattering on a petite frame. I can't wait for the weather in Atlanta to get back in the 50s and 60s so I can wear this! This jacket would look great paired with some skinny jeans and my Sam Edelman Petty booties. The sleeves are just a tad too long, but nothing to really complain about. The sleeves have zipped cuffs. I prefer them fully zipped.

The two front pockets can be zipped up as well and can fit my iPhone X with no problem. These days a fully functional pocket is a must for me. Overall, if you're looking for a casual and inexpensive suede jacket, you can't go wrong with this one. I would totally buy this in another color. This taupe version is totally calling my name!

That's it for me! Hope you all have a great weekend!

    1. We started him on steroids Saturday morning. So far I'm not seeing any improvement. We are taking him to the vet tomorrow morning to see if there's anything more we can do for him.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
