Review- Feetures! Max Cushion No Show Tab

Just for some background, in the past I could never run more than 3 miles at a time. I've tried different kinds of running shoes and nothing really helped. I would always get these calluses under my big toe that would be super painful any time I tried to run more than 5 miles a week. Finally someone on agentathletica's blog suggested I try different kind of socks.

I was a bit skeptical that I would even find a pair of socks that would even fit my tiny feet. I wear a size 5 in shoes. I'm on the very small side when it comes to any kind of footwear for women. But I thought I would give these socks a try since I was training for a 10K.

These come in three sizes, small, medium, and large. Size small fits 4-6.5 size shoes. A medium fits 7-9.5 shoe. Anything bigger than that and you're in the size large category.

These socks are thick and cushiony. Much better than any other sock I've ever bought. They also fit like a glove. What I like most besides the fit is how they are pretty much seamless throughout. They also marked L for left and R for right. That's kind of cute. They also come in a variety of colors. So far I've purchased about 9 pairs of these.

Verdict? I've ran my 10K twice already and have not had any more painful calluses develop on my feet. They are seriously miracle socks. I've purchased mine through Athleta and Amazon. These cost $16 a pop and I do think they're pricey for socks, but soooooo worth it. I will totally be buying more of these.

How is everyone's week going so far? I've placed an order from Athleta and J.Crew. I've been itching for some fall clothes. Coming up I'll have a fit review for Friday and I'm working on my fall wish list!

Hope you all have a great week!!

  1. Good socks can make all the difference! I'm currently loving Lulus high speed socks.

    1. I've tried a few pairs from Lulu, but even the smallest size is too big for my feet. =( The Play All Day sock fits decently but too thin. I haven't tried the High Speed ones though. I'll take a look next time I'm at the store!

  2. I only run in Feetures and Smartwool socks (in the winter). The Feetures arch support is woven into the sock, anotomically matching the foot which is the reason for L and R designation. I generally wait until my local running store is having a sale to buy them! Glad they work well for you, too!

    1. Oh didn't know that about the L and R designation. Good to know. Suzanne from agentathletica let me know they are on sale at 6pm.com for a pack of 3. I think I'll be ordering from them from now on!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
