Fit Review Friday! Store Try Ons! Press Pause Pullover, Speed Up Short, Wunder Under Crop SE,

Happy Friday everyone! I have a couple of store try ons this week. The Press Pause Pullover is actually quite flattering on my petite body.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches and typically wear a size 4 in tops and bottoms.

For most relaxed fit tops I can usually size down. This was the case for the Press Pause Pullover. I grabbed a size 2 and the fit was perfect. No pulling at the shoulders or chest and it was very comfortable to wear. The fabric is mid weight sweat shirt material. For $98 I didn't think the fabric was as soft as I would like it to be so I passed. I may reconsider if I see it on WMTM.

I'm wearing Speed Up Shorts underneath the pullover. As you can see the length of the pullover covers up the shorts completely. The pullover actually could be worn as a mini dress if you're super petite like I am! The kangaroo pockets are nice for warmth but I'm not completely convinced the side seams are flattering.

Next up I grabbed the Speed Up Shorts to try in Aeon to try. I definitely like the fit more than Speed Shorts, but I wonder if they flare out a bit at my thighs.

See the flare? Yay or Nay?

I really do like the color though. It's similar to black grape but slightly more purple/blue. I'm trying to be patient to see if Lulu will release some cute prints. Verdict? This is a maybe, it's on my wish list. I'm just not 100% sure I need it. At this point, I'm a collector and will only purchase pieces I feel are special enough to add to my Lulu collection. If I was a newbie I would have snapped this color up already.

In this photo, it doesn't flare out as much if my leg is straight. Hmmm....

Lastly I was super excited to see the special edition of the Wunder Under Crop with the scalloped hem. I missed the chance to try them on last time they were released and was super jealous when I saw Mighty Kacy wearing a pair of these. I can't find a photo of it right now, but Kacy has a serious Lululemon collection too. Sometimes I wonder how is it possible that certain pieces fit her so perfectly. She's only slightly taller than I am, but she's definitely much leaner.

These are so friggin soft I wish they fit me better! Unfortunately the scallop hem are so loose around my ankles that they look sad. Sigh.

The ankles are just a disaster on me. They fit everywhere else though. This is one of those times that I wish Lululemon offered petite sizing. Wee are from space silver spoon is my first choice for these crops. Night tide would be my second choice. But alas, neither are meant to be.

I really loved how soft and feminine this sweater is, especially in mink berry. The photo doesn't do it justice.

This is a pretty accurate photo of Deep Rouge in the Box It Out Bra. It's a very pretty shade of red.

That's all for me! Hope you all have a great weekend! Stay safe if Irma is heading your way... I have to say I'm a little nervous but hoping for a miracle. Miami will need all the help it can get.

  2. I bought the special edition WU and though I'm an inch shorter they seem to work out really well for me. I didn't order the Press Pause but I had to size up so much in the Sunshine Coast sweater to fit my shoulders that I wear it as a dress and I love it!!

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
