Review: Anker SoundBuds Slim Wireless Headphones

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Tomorrow I took the day off from work so I can checkout the solar eclipse that's happening tomorrow. We bought a few pairs of solar eclipse glasses and hope to get some pictures. Will any of you be checking it out as well?

As I've mentioned previously I've been training for a 10K the past 6 weeks or so. One of my main concerns was getting a pair of bluetooth headphones that I could comfortably run with. After reading reviews and debating between expensive ones for $100+ I ended up purchasing these on Amazon for $25.

The main attraction for me was the fact that you can choose the size you want for the earbuds and ear fasteners. I was pretty tiny ears and the size XS earbuds with small ear fasteners fit nicely. They are also light weight. You can also shorten the length of the wire in the back if you need to with fit clip. It does take a few tries to get them to fit how you want them to. I love that the whole thing is easily customizable.

Every so often I do have to push them back into my ear while running because the bouncing does jiggle it a bit. Overall very pleased with these! My one concern is the battery. When connected to your phone, it does show a very small battery icon that lets you know how much juice you have left, but I find it is not so accurate. I would suggest charging these after every other use or so. It says 7 hours time, but I feel like they die after 4-5 hours.

These definitely have made my 10K training a lot more pleasant!

  1. Nice! A good playlist definitely makes a run better! Some people like to listen to audiobooks during their long runs, but personally I just like upbeat music. :)

    1. I haven't tried audiobooks while running. I'm not totally positive I would be able to follow along while running. haha.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
