Fit Review Friday! Train Times Crop, Breeze By Muscle Tank II, Long Distance Tank, Speed Short Aerial Drift + ZARA

Happy Friday everyone! Today was a half day for me since it's Memorial Day Weekend. Hope you all have something fun planned! I was outta my chair at noon and walked over to the mall to see what was new. I found the Long Distance Tank on markdown in a size 2 and a 4 just to see which one fit me better.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and typically a size 4 in tops and bottoms.

The size 2 was a little too fitted for my tastes around the waist and hip, so I found the size 4 to be more comfortable. The fabric is seriously light luon and also very thin, so if it's too tight it will definitely show lumps and bumps. I would definitely stick to your regular size in this tank.

I didn't think to wear a sports bra, normally I do when I know I'm going to Lululemon, but I've been so scatterbrained lately. I ended up passing on the tank even though I really loved the heathered marvel color.

Next up, I grabbed the Train Times Crop to try on. I love wee are from space and these crops are very soft full on luxtreme fabric. These crops are high waisted but still sit right underneath my belly button. The waistband is snug, but comfortable. There is a hidden drawstring on the inside of the waistband.

The length of these crops are 17 inches and they hit just at the bottom of my calves and are super fitted and not loose at all. I think these are super flattering even for petite gals like myself. The mesh detail at the side of the leg is a nice touch. I don't mind a little bit of mesh.

These are not 100% opaque, so nude underwear would be best. I took these home with me and I can't wait to try them out! For $88 I think they're a good buy. These will easily be a pair of crops that I will reach for often.

So last time I went to the mall, the dark mystic Speed Shorts in size 4 were very tight on me. This week I grabbed a size 4 in aerial drift and a size 6 in dark mystic to see. The size 4 in aerial drift fit like my old Speeds. The size 6 in dark mystic was way too big. It was loose all around the waist band and the lining was also very loose.

With the inconsistency of the sizes, I wouldn't recommend buying Speed Shorts online. I would stick to trying them on at the store. If there are no Lululemon stores near you, I would order multiple pairs of the same size and then return the ones that do not fit in the mail. Definitely a pain, but if there's a print you absolutely have to have, then it's worth it to get the right fit.

I was curious about the Breeze By Muscle Tank and the smallest size seems to be a size 4. This tank is made for running and this will definitely keep you cool. The fabric reminded me of Swiftly material. The arm holes are super dropped and will expose your sports bra and your ribs.

I think the price is a little steep at $58, but if I were to see this on WMTM, I would definitely snag one then. Even though it's a loose fitting tank, I would stick to your regular size. Overall it's a cute tank, just a bit too pricey.

I also decided to drop by Zara to look for some work clothes. I kinda dig this faux leather jacket. It's only 39.99!

My friend says the draped front is a little dated. Do you agree? For $39.99 I think it would be a great piece to wear around the office. I also liked this vest, but wasn't sure if it looked too overwhelming on my petite frame.

The fabric was mid weight and thick. I think if I were just a bit taller, I would have bought this. And then I'd have to make a point of really working out my arms. 😂

I have tons of reviews coming up for you guys. This weekend I'll be taking tons of photos. Lots of Lululemon, Athleta, Nike, Uggs, Banana Republic, Gucci, and Werkshop! That's all for me! Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!!!

  2. Congrats on snagging the train crops! I want to get them too and trying to convince myself that the wee space pace rivals design is different from the train crops as its the same colour :P

    1. Pace Rivals don't fit me as well as these do. I think the Pace Rivals are still a bit big around my calves which is why I don't have a pair of those!

  4. I like the vest but not the draped front jacket as much. But I'm a sucker and always buy things because of the deal and then have it hanging in my closet. Looking forward to your reviews!!

    1. Haha, I am the same way, but I'm trying to be better about my purchases lately. Taking modeling photos help me a lot when deciding what to keep!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
