More Athleta Fit Reviews! Cozy Karma Asym Hoodie, Luxe Stronger Hoodie Oatmeal, Cozy Karma Wrap

This morning I woke up to reserve the Luxe Stronger Hoodie in oatmeal at the store and to my shock I saw almost all the sizes sold out over night!  Yikes!

Here are some modeling photos for you guys in case you can reserve it at the store near you.  I love that Athleta gives you that option now.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and I'm wearing XXS in Athleta.

As soon as I put it on it was love at first sight.  There was no way I was walking out of the store empty handed.  I seriously can't decide if I like the black or oatmeal more to be honest, so I'm keeping both.  I'll probably have to sell a few of my Scuba Hoodies to make up for this!!

This is just super cozy.  I do want to point out that the zipper lining is tan.  It looks a little greenish in the photo because of the lighting in the fitting room.  It's a beige-tan color.

I also have a review of the black version here.

I also tried on the Cozy Karma Asym Hoodie.  It is no where near as lush as the Luxe hoodie.  The inside is also lined with the same super soft faux fur as the Luxe hoodie.

It's super comfortable and casual fitting.  You can definitely layer under this piece if you wanted to.  I passed on this because it looked a little drab on me.  Plus I already have so much charcoal gray in my wardrobe.  I didn't like the iron blue version because of the black zipper.

The asymmetrical zipper is a nice detail however the hoodie sort of looks a little too sloppy if you leave it open.  It looks much better zippered up.

I also tried on the Cozy Karma Wrap.  It is ridiculously soft and comfy to wear, but it overwhelmed my petite frame.

If they somehow added a closure to this and made it into a coat I might have bought it.  I kept thinking this would make a great coat if it just had some buttons.  I love the hood and the soft lining!  You guys have to try this Cozy Karma line.

I want to say this runs large.  Or maybe it's just because it looks so big on me!  That's it for today, I hope you all have a great weekend!

In case you guys think I've jumped ship to Athleta, I still love my Lululemon.  So don't worry.  Here's a pic of my OOTD.

=D

  1. Yep. Definitely like the oatmeal color on you better than the black. The asym looked nice too- agree on 'zipping it up' looks much better than open. That karma wrap would probably look chic with shoes other than workout shoes. Thanks for the review!

    1. Yeah I have to agree I love the oatmeal just a little bit more than the black. But I do think I'm keeping both. I already wore the oatmeal out tonight and it's soon cozy! I am thinking about getting the Karma wrap for around the house and wear it like a robe. haha.

  2. I know... totally agree. If they had it during the 20% off sale, it would have been such a better deal. I think I may have a small blog sale. Stay tuned!

  3. I was in the store today and tried on a few fleece tops. The Cozy Karma Hoodie was sooo flattering and cozy. It runs big. With your referral link, I just ordered the hoodie and the dress in XXS. Lulu has been disappointing and Athleta has definitely stepped by.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
