Store Try Ons! Nulux Speed Wunder Tights, Florence Speed Shorts, Teeny Tooth Deep Fuchsia Define, Essential Tank!

I'm still traveling at the moment and writing this post from Newport Rhode Island.  It's right by the beach and so peaceful.  The other night I was in NYC to see one of my favorite bands from the 90s.  Anyone ever listen to Lush?  They pre dated the bath soap store that's super popular right now in malls.  This is what I wore to the show.

Deep zinfandel Precision Jacket and Essential Tank in dusty mauve with a pair of denim shorts from Zara.

Anyhow, I did manage to go to the Chestnut Hill store while I was in Boston and saw the new Define Jacket in person!

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches and size 4 in tops and bottoms unless otherwise noted.

The fabric is really thick, although not as soft as herringbone if I remember correctly.  I'll have to wait until I get back to Atlanta to be sure.  This is my usual size 4 in Defines and the fit is perfect.  I think the fit is actually a little looser than my herringbone Define from last year.  It doesn't feel as tight when I zip it up.

I'm wearing it with the florence Speed Shorts I've been eying ever since they came out.  But after seeing the Speed Shorts in person I think I can safely pass on these.  I wasn't crazy about the print on the back of the shorts.  I"ll have more pictures of the shorts coming up in this post.

I think the Define Jacket in the teeny tooth looks great for casual fall outfits.  This will make a good transitional piece since it's thicker than the luon versions.  It's softer and cozier.  I may pair this with my black coco pique Vinyasa scarf.

Here I'm just throwing it over what I wore that day.

Next up, florence Speed Shorts.  I really like the front but wasn't a fan of the back.  I wish it was the same pattern in the front and the back.

Fit is true to size and I tried on my usual size 4.

These are nice, but it wasn't love at first sight.  Not enough for me to shell out the money and add it to my collection.  Maybe if I didn't have my dottie tribe Speed Shorts, I might have gotten these?

I was super happy to finally get to try on these Nulux Speed Wunder Tights!  This outfit actually looks pretty fabulous if I say so myself.

This really is the most comfortable tights I've ever tried on at Lululemon.  The waist band is super smooth and stretchy.  No muffin top at all.  I tried on my usual size 4 in bottoms.

The thickness of these tights run on the thin side.  I can see using them for fall and chilly weather but not for winter temperatures.

I will have to say the horizontal zebra striping really does not flatter my thighs.  They made them look wider than usual from the side.  It also doesn't help that I'm super short.

From the front however, they look great.  I did find to my dismay these do not pass the bend over test.  I was wearing minty green pair of underwear and you can totally see the color right through.  For the price of $128, I can't shell out the money for see through tights.

I'm hoping the florence Speed Wunder Tights are not as see through.  And no, I do not think sizing up will help much.  It's so sad because these are soooooooo comfortable.  I cannot stress them enough!  They feel so silky and stretchy.

I tried on the Essential Tank in the size 2.  I definitely liked the color but I think I definitely like the dusty mauve color more, so I left these behind.  But I would consider them again if they make it to WMTM.

That's all for today!  Hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend so far!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
