Werkshop Review! Full Length Purple Scales!

I've been eyeing these Purple Scales Werkshop Leggings for a couple of months.  When I was finally ready to buy them in June my size was out of stock.  Patience is key with Werkshop.  Many times size small will be sold out, but if you wait a month or two they always restock.  Last week when I checked and saw my size, I jumped on them.  I own 5 other pairs of Werkshop leggings but they are all crop length.  This is my first full length legging from Werkshop.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches and usually a size 4 in Lululemon Wunder Unders.

One of the best things about buying from Werkshop is their consistency with sizes.  I'm a size small and these fit exactly like my other Werkshop crops.

I see a lot of people doing yoga with the bottoms folded over their feet and I don't know if I would ever do that myself, but I'm just showing how long these can be on my short frame.

If you notice they are a little baggy around my knees but I don't think it's a major issue.  It's because my knees are hitting higher up where it's still supposed to be thigh area.  If I went down to an XS they would be too tight around my waist.

I always find the rise super comfortable.  These hit just below my belly button.  The waist band is nice and wide.

Please excuse my bony feet.  I just want to show that the length of these are definitely scrunched up but I don't think it's too bad.  If anything these are definitely hem-able.  As of right now I still have the tags attached but I'm definitely leaning towards keeping them.

I think the color is amazing and I think they do look great!  The color may be a little hard to match, but I'm wearing these with my heathered slate cool racerback.  I think these would also look good with white, black, dark purple and lilac colored tops.  Light pink might even work.

Now the website does not include the length of their leggings.  I'm not sure why, but I think if they did it would help immensely.  The length of the full length legging is 28.5 inches.  The length of the crop is 20.5 inches.  That's a huge difference.

These also come in two other colors.  Teal Scales and Gold Scales.  As of right now all sizes are in stock.  I'm also eyeing the Angler leggings.  They come in crop and full length.  Now that I know I can pull off the full length version I'm leaning towards that for the Angler version.  Also on my wish list is the Dragonflies.

If you're thinking about placing an order, you can get 10% off if you use my referral link!  It only works if this is your first Werkshop order.

  1. Thank you for the review. They look great on you!! You are killing me with all of these gorgeous werkshop leggings!! I totally have been wanting multiple pairs. My favorites are ghost's Galaxy, butterflies and jellyfish. All of which you have. What design do you wear the most out of those? I would appreciate your thoughts.

    1. My top three are Jellyfish, Tentacles and Circus Girl. Those are the three I go for most. The Jellyfish is a total stunner!
I usually offload my Lulu on eBay. There's also a Facebook group that I joined, but I'm not really active on FB so I haven't actually posted anything for sale, but once in a while I'll look to see what's for sale.

It's a private group though so you have to get approved to join. I hope that link works.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
