Fit Review Friday! Play All Day Socks and Anthropologie Visit!

Ok so this isn't really a fit review since I didn't get myself to the store.  But I am hoping maybe I'll stop by this weekend to try a few things on my wish list.  However, I did order the Play All Day Socks when I saw them in the blue and pink combo!  I cannot pass up super cute socks.

Unfortunately the Pink Shell/Pipe Dream Blue combo already sold out online but they still have the white pair.  I would totally buy another pair if I could now that I know they fit me!  Normally I have to buy socks from the kids section because my feet are just that tiny.  I love the New Balance socks I have and they are children's size large.

I typically wear a size 5 or 5.5 in women's and most socks never fit me perfectly.  There's also hanging fabric left over at the end of my foot which annoys me so much.  It's like a pet peeve.  I took a chance ordering these in the size Small/Medium.  When I saw these right out of the packaging I knew they would fit.

Purrrrrrfect!

Bottom line, if I see these in the store, I would totally buy them again!

I stopped by Anthropologie next still searching for a light weight cape-ish thing to wear in the summer.  And I found it!  Here it is!

So it doesn't look like a cape in this photo, but when I got home, because of the way the knots are tied at the ends of the scarf I could totally wrap the scarf around my shoulders and it slouches and falls in a nice drape to my lower back.  I have to take a photo and show you guys!  The back of the scarf has two sparrows facing one another.  Next time I wear it I'll have my husband take a pic.

Yeah I don't know why I decided to try on this duster either.  I just like long drapey things even though they make me look even shorter than I already am.  The material felt nice but it totally doesn't work on my frame.

After that failed experiment, I tried on another kimono.  This one wasn't horrible, but still a little too long and swallowed me whole.  But the fabric is very nice and super soft and silky.

I can't seem to find the sweater wrap I'm wearing below anywhere on their website, but I was pretty close to buying it.  Ultimately I passed because I thought maybe the knot and the length of the front panels were too long and would end up bothering me after a while.  This supposedly also comes in petite sizes, but I can't seem to find it.

The fabric was soft but also felt like it could be a little scratchy at times if you are very sensitive.  I loved how it fit though!

I grabbed a black dress to try on just for the heck of it.  I thought it looked okay but there was something off about how it fit near the chest and armpits.  Too much fabric I think.  The length was okay, kind of like a maxi dress.  The fabric was soooooo soft and silky.  That was what really tempted me to buy it.  It would have been perfect for summer date night.

However I didn't because of the steep price.  $158+ tax.  Maybe if it fit better in the armpit area I might have gotten it.  This also comes in petite, but all the sizes are pretty much sold out online.  It's too bad Anthropologie doesn't carry the petite sizes in stores.

That's all for today!  Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
