Commit30 Planner 2016

This is my very first planner ever.  I've always looked at them in the past and thought, yeah I would never use one of those.  So why this planner?  I first heard of this planner from Agent Athletica.  You can read her post here.  I love a good challenge, and this planner is all about challenges.  You can say I've got a competitive streak.  And the best part?  You can reward yourself at the end of the 30 day challenge.  It's like a free pass to buy something!  This appeals to the shopaholic inside me.  A reward?  Yes please!  Sign me right up!

This planner is called Commit 30.  Commit to something for 30 days.  It could be anything.  For January I'm challenging myself to drink at least 64 oz of H2O.  Green tea with no sugar added counts, but soda or anything that has sugar does not.  I have the hardest time drinking water.  I don't know why.  I think I maybe average 40 oz a day?  I know I get dehydrated too because I'll get these mild headaches.

I've already decided for the month of February which is also my birthday month that I will not shop at all for anything unless I need it.  That is going to be super hard for me.  The reward at the end of February if I make it will be worth it, hopefully!  I haven't decided what it will be yet.

I don't think I'll really be using the day to day parts of the planner, as I'm not that OCD.  I also haven't decided if I'm going to be carrying this around with me everywhere I go as it is pretty thick.  About an inch thick or so, but light weight.  It's a beautiful planner.  You can buy it here on sale for $35.  A little pricey, but I hope this will motivate me to challenge myself to be a better person for 2016.  One month at a time!

I hope everyone has a safe and happy New Year!  Here's to 2016!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
