New Releases Week of April 20th 2026

I didn't see that much new stuff from Lululemon today, but also a lot of their new items look the same to me. 🙈 I'm most excited for the new items from Athleta. I need to swing by their store this weekend to get some try-ons. I'm liking the Dream Drape line and the  Favorite Cotton Tank . I could use some more summer tanks. Anything catch your eye this week? Fount Orchid Charms Arrived!

Just wanted to share my newest bag charms by Fount. The entire collection sold out within two hours. I'm hoping they restock these charms. I kind of wish I also bought the Lavendar Petal charm shown in the photo below. Half the fun is finding the perfect bag to go with the charms. The Raspberry Orchid charm charm goes perfectly with my Louis Vuitton Watercolor Speedy. The tropical vibes make me so happy. It's definitely the perfect spring/summer bag. I've already carried her out over the weekend. 😍 Fount Charms The Lavender Orchid charm looks really pretty with my Peter Nitz Medium Libby Tote in Black Cherry. This will look amazing for fall/winter, although I would still carry her now. The charm transforms this tote into an all year round bag. I forgot to mention Mooncat released their newest collection last Friday. To no one's surprise, I bought the whole set. I can't wait to check out their new solar formula. The color changes based on sunlight! I'm most exci...

Fit Review Friday! Banana Republic Washed Cotton Chore Jacket and Mid Rise Relaxed Painter Pull On Pant

Happy Friday! Atlanta is having some really nice weather for the past couple of weeks. It's the perfect spring weather. Not too hot and low humidity. This Banana Republic outfit I was trying to put together to emulate spring vibes did not quite work out as I had hoped. 😅 For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size PXS in Banana Republic. I also wear size PXS in Athleta and size 4/6 or XS/S in Lululemon. Washed Cotton Chore Jacket Brownstone Mauve Size XXS  What drew me to this jacket is 100% the color. It's a really pretty mauve, more purple/brown vs the pink that's showing in the top photo. It's definitely closer to the bottom photo in real life. I'm wearing size XXS in this  Washed Cotton Chore Jacket  and it's still quite oversized on me.  The sleeves arrived cuffed, you can fold them down if you want like the model. The fabric is 100% washed cotton. I'm definitely gravitating towards natural fibers lately, and you cannot belie...

New Releases Week of April 14th 2026

Athleta has a new Journey line that I'm interested in seeing in person. I'm going to try and stop by the store this weekend. Hopefully the store near me gets some of these new items. Also very excited for Mooncat's newest collection! It drops this Friday and so far, I am loving all the new polishes. 😍 I have a sneak peak of a couple new colors below. The collection is called Deadly By Nature. 😍 It's the goth in me!   Everlux Panelled HR Tight 25" Black (I like these tights, they remind me of a pair Werkshop used to have. Very moto tough) Scuba Windbreaker Downtown Tan Define OS Jacket Mesh Burgundy Bay (I wonder how oversized this jacket is) Perforated Define Jacket SLNSH Collection Black Define Full Zip Tank Top Burgundy Bay Mat 3mm Seafoam (So pretty) New From Athleta I am really liking their Journey line. Will have to check it out the next time I visit a store. Signature Rib Apron Support Top Black/Bright White Brooklyn Piping Ankle Pant Black/Bright White Tra...

My Current Bag Collection and Meet the Bag that Started this Hobby

It was 2003 and I had just graduated from college. I was already working full time and one Friday after work, I walked into Bloomingdale's in Soho and this bag just stopped me in my tracks. I graduated with a degree in Visual Arts and photography has always been something I was passionate about. I developed my own film, I loved looking through the view finder to frame the perfect shot. Seeing this image on this bag, just really spoke to me at the time. It still does, there's something about it that just resonates with me. This is an ICON Navigator messenger bag. The leather still feels great after 23 years. Sadly, the company no longer exists.  This bag retailed for $395 and it was the most expensive item I had ever purchased at the time. I used this bag for a couple of years, it was my everyday carry.  Around 2005, I started looking into getting my first Balenciaga bag. They were really hard to find. I remember searching on eBay for one and found a pewter First but...
