Happy Friday! It's also the 25th anniversary of 9/11, which I can't believe it's been 25 years. It just doesn't seem possible so much time has passed. I was in college at Fordham University about to leave for my first class of the day when my grandma told me to turn on the tv. She was either on the phone with someone who told her or she was listening to the Chinese radio. I remember feeling a bit annoyed because I was trying to rush out the door to get to class. But the second I turned the tv on, I knew everything was about to be cancelled. I also remember how blue and sunny and how there was not a single cloud in the sky. It was supposed to be a perfect day. It doesn't feel like it was 25 years ago. It's so surreal. I just wanted to acknowledge the anniversary on my blog. I'm not sure if I ever have before in the past. When I look at all the 9/11 videos that come across my Instagram feed or an article in the NYTimes catches my eye, I feel compelled to watch...
Apologies for the delay! I was out most of the day and finally got back. We went to see the Odyssey in IMAX. It was my second viewing of the movie, but the first time in IMAX. It is such a great movie. I think it's going to win Oscars. I'm interested in a few things that caught my eye this week, but the prices are insane.
