Upload! October 6th 2020

Lots of desert teal everywhere today! I guess diamond dye is out. Anyone miss it? I will admit it was one of my favorite prints in the graphite pink. The only thing tempting me from this upload is the Hotty Hot Short 2.5" High-Rise Desert Teal. I am kind of obsessed with these shorts. I might have to unload some of my Speeds Ups. Anyone else feel the same way? Anything for you from this upload?

Edit- Okay this is also really pretty. Scuba Hoodie Heathered Violet Verbena Love this shade!

(This looks like it may be the same as the Soft Ambitions Crop fabric? It doesn't look as cute though, but still tempting...)

(Is short season over? But I still want these!)

(This is pretty cute, but the high neckline looks very restricting.)

(This just looks like black to me? 😑)

(The close up is kind of amazing, reminds me of Christmas lights, would love to see it in a tank or bra.)

(This does not look comfortable.)

(Really wish Lulu used better quality sherpa...)

(This is back and I'm still kind of tempted!)

  1. The HH HR short in desert teal looks good and it's a flattering cut on you! If you like to work out in shorts then they never go out of season! For myself, I'm tempted by the Ready To Rulu Jogger in Jaquard Heritage Camo. A camo pattern with lunar rock sounds appealing!

    1. Very true, I pretty much workout in shorts everyday... *adds to cart*

Ah I am jealous you can wear the Ready to Rulu joggers. They're too long on me.

  2. I really want to like HH's, and have tried many different versions, but they just don't flatter me. I like the Labyrinth pattern on the Speed Ups, but I don't need more--even though I do workout in them all year here in Texas. If they release in Desert Teal, I might need them. Nothing for me today!

    1. I have always been a Speed Up fan, but the HH in the high rise have really won me over. DOn't worry there's always next week for something to tempt you!

  3. I am not sure I like desert teal so I am safe this week. I liked the sherpa on the Oh So Sherpa half zip jacket that came out a couple of weeks ago. I did not keep it because I prefer a fully zipped jacket. It looks so frumpy on the models that it will probably look worse on a shortie like me. It may be incredibly cozy though. Should I order a size down to try or wait for reviews?

    1. Hmmm from the photos I would say size down. It looks really big! Which color are you looking to get?

  4. I was tempted to get the Oh So Sherpa Jacket but agree that Lulu could use better quality Sherpa. Hesitated also because Spiced Bronze looks nice but might not be flattering on Asian skin, while black and navy look too boring.

I want something in Nebula which is such a pretty blue color. Desert Teal, Blue Cast and Violet Verbena are lovely too. Don’t need another hoodie and am still hoping for a nice French Terry wrap!

By the way, you should get the HR HH Shorts cos you look great in it, and Desert Teal is gorgeous!

    1. Agreed, the colors could be better for Oh So Sherpa... the spiced bronze might work but it could go either way for Asian skin.

Ha, I can't seem to get away from hoodies. I guess it's something I will always reach for, so having a variety is a good thing! I've fully accepted that lol.

Thank you! I think I will get the HR HH. =D

  5. If only they released shorts a month earlier I would've snatched those HH HR in desert teal! I really like the grey stripe ones but I haven't removed the tags because I have a bunch of shorts already and it's getting cooler. HMM I like the color though. I like the All Yours Crew in the soft ambitions fabric but it looks so basic and boring for $108!

    1. I ended up returning the gray stripe HH. Wasn't 100% loving it on me, glad I did because I have the desert teal ones coming!

Also am going to try the All Yours Crew. It does look really plain but the fabric might be worth it LOL. Will have a review up soon!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
