Ahh is it already the start of another week? Even though I've been working from home for the past 4 months, the weekends still feel like they go by way too fast. I still dread Mondays. For those in the US, how worried are you about covid-19? I'm pretty worried with Florida right next door and they have a record of 15,000 new cases in one day. They beat New York at their worst. 😦
Now for the review! For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches and typically a size 4 in Lululemon tops.
I purchased this hoodie on a whim and not really thinking I would like it. I am wearing the smallest size XS/S. I was 100% sure this hoodie would be too big on me. Turns out, I was wrong. Even though the sizing is very generous, it still looks really flattering on a petite person. The length isn't too long, it hits right at the hip and almost covers the bum completely.
The only thing that IS too long are the sleeves. That's probably my only issue with this top. Otherwise it is perfect. I love everything else about it. This sweater/hoodie is super cute. The texture really draws your eye in and makes it unique.
The fabric is soft and very cozy. I wish it wasn't summer time so I could wear this out and about. While I was taking photos, I could not get over how photogenic this top is. Every single photo I took came out amazing. Even though the sleeves are very long, I've decided this one is a keeper. I will deal with it!
It even looks great with the hood on! Since this top is very angular and structural, I would most likely wear this with leggings and skinny jeans. The light gray is very pretty and neutral so a lot of different colored bottoms would work with this too.
Also comes in a very mysterious looking gray.
The Soft Ambitions Crop Crew is still on my list even though the sleeves are very long in the reviews, but I still want to try it. I'm also waiting for a restock in the gray. That's it for me! Let me know what you've snagged from the latest sale!

Have you been on the reddit site? So many girls are absolutely insane about anything lulu. Resellers would buy whatever is popular based on reddit posts.
ReplyDeleteFor the big sale, my two orders arrived yesterday. I love my two nulu bras (flow y and align/rejuvenate, size 4). Hoodied define in nulu size 8 was fitted and roomy at the same time. I was sent a size 4 swiftly LS instead of a size 6 breath by LS :(. The good news is that I got my hands on a rally wrap in the light purple color this morning. Hopefully size 4 is not tight around my shoulders.
Pink camo align shorts have been spotted in the store and are expected to be uploaded this week (reddit). I prefer loose shorts to biker shorts. I have to make a decision based on the color. Lulu does not give us a break lol.
Thank you! I know I can't believe it either. I woke up and immediately checked to see if the Soft Ambitions Crew was back in stock and it IS in the beechwood, so I placed an order. At least I'll know if I like it or not in case the grey ever restocks. The matching shorts were also restocked in both grays and in a lot of sizes. Still no luck with the Inner Glow Shorts though.
DeleteI have been to the reddit site to browse and lots of photos over there too! I did not know about the resellers buying up stock based on reddit. That's very interesting and explains a lot about why things are disappearing so fast! ugh!
Lucky you! Shipping has been so slow on my end... I haven't received anything yet! But at least my orders aren't cancelled. Whew.

Ohhhhhh I might have to get those pink camp Align shorts. I have a couple of pairs of Align shorts and I do like them but do not wear often. I usually just wear them for workouts. Lulu really is taking all my money. Lulu and Athleta these days. =D
The Retreat Hoodie does look amazing on you! Agree the sleeves are too long (oh well as expected for most Lulu tops :D) but not a deal breaker, It is really cute so definitely keep it!
