Upload! Lunar New Year Jan 21, 2020

The Lunar New Year Upload is something my mom would LOVE. She's a huge fan of the red and gold combo. If red is your color, this upload has got everything covered. For me, I'm not a big fan of red, never have been, but I do admire it. I think I have a couple of red bags and that's about it.

Nothing for me this week. What do you think about the Lunar New Year collection?

(I really like this print!)

(I think this is gorgeous! I hope to purchase something in this print.)

(I kinda like this print too, I haven't bought a new pair of Speed Up Shorts in a long time though and I definitely don't need another pair I have over a dozen!)

  1. I’m like you- I admire the red from afar. The color is so rich and vibrant. I’m bummed because I wanted to get the lunar scuba in fools gold about a few weeks ago. That lunar scuba had a gold flower on the pocket, then it vanished from the US site. I see it in the HK site though. Today, they posted the fools gold scuba w/o the flower :( .

    1. Oh no! Maybe it will come back? The flower is pretty and definitely different.

  2. Nothing for me this upload. I like the Nightfall Blossom print too! So pretty. I hope you’ll do a fit review of something with that print. I am a big fan of red but have quite a few red hoodies and leggings already.

  3. I’m never a big fan of red too but I do have a gorgeous red leather bag which I use once in a while. Yellow/gold is one of the colors that I would NEVER wear. The color just doesn’t look good on my skin tone.

I was thinking of getting the Scuba Hoodie Ornamental Floral but was put off by how the white background shows when stretched. You can see the white on either side of the zipper along the bottom edge.

Thanks for your fit review, I finally pulled the trigger and ordered the Radiant Jacket in Heathered Spanish Oak. Not sure if I’ll be keeping it though cos I have three Radiant Jackets already. I actually like the jacket in gorgeous Night Diver but since most of my Lulu jackets/hoodies fade, I now prefer buying heathered colors to solid one cos fading doesn’t show as bad in heathered colors.

    1. Agreed on the yellow/gold as well. It washes me out or makes me look very bland.

Unfortunately most prints in the Scuba Hoodie have that issue when stretched. Not sure why that is?

Ah did you! You'll have to let me know what you think when you get it in person. I bet it will be a keeper!

    2. The Radiant Jacket arrived and Heathered Spanish Oak actually looks nicer than I thought! I got it in size 2 and it fits a tad snug compared to my other Radiant Jackets in the same size but I believe it will stretch out over time. Definitely a keeper! :)

    3. Nice! I knew you would love the color. I wonder if this color runs smaller. I used to have a Radiant Jacket in a size 2 that fit well, but this time I grabbed the size 4 and it fit fine, so wasn't sure if I was just getting broader or what... good to know! LOL.

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
