Upload! July 30th 2019

Small upload this week. Dark Adobe is officially back and I kinda love it. I am totally eyeing the On The Fly 7/8 Pant in dark adobe, but I wonder if they will release it in the woven fabric as well. For those of you who have been reading my blog for awhile, I am going on a shopping ban for the month of August. I do this every year along with Frugal February. For me, every 6 months is a good time to reset my spending habits. Tomorrow is the last day for me to make my last purchases for the month of July. Then starting August 1 through the 31st, I'll be on a ban. I will still try and do updates and store visits for try ons only. Wish me luck! I'm gonna need it...

Did you buy anything lately? I'm still recovering from Coach and Nordstrom. If you're joining me on my August ban, let me know. I would love to have some company.

(why is this $128? nothing special...)

(I might need this for fall, I hope it comes in woven!)

(added these to my cart too!)

  2. I like the WU Crops in Snow Wash! But since buying aligns I don't like wearing anything else for working out! For casual wear I like luxtreme or luon.
I checked out the Birdie's shoes and they're really cute! I have too many shoes to buy any more. For sandals and dressy comfy shoes my all time fave is Arche.

    1. I wear Aligns for casual wear as well. They're just so comfortable! I am the same way, have enough new shoes to last me maybe 10 years. But I still want to add a pair of Birdies! Maybe after my ban is over.

    2. I'm too scared of sitting on anything not smooth in my aligns! Hehe. Please post which birdies you pick :D

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
