Werkshop Ode To The Moon Full Length & Crop

November 16, 2017

When I saw Werkshop's latest offering on Instagram I knew I had to have them. Ode To The Moon is one of my favorite releases from Werkshop.

I ordered these in both the crop and full length to see which one I preferred. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear a size 4 in Lululemon bottoms and size PXS in Athleta.

Can I just start by saying how awesome this print is? I love that I'm wearing someone's artwork. Werkshop reminds me of this quote by Oscar Wilde, "One should either be a work of art or wear a work of art."

I have quite a few posts on my blog on how Werkshop fits so I'll keep it short.  For crop length the waist hits slightly above my belly button and the waist band is tight but will conform to your body after a few wears. The length of the crops hit slightly below my calves and because I have thin legs they are just ever so slightly loose. I do wish they fit me better in the calves but it doesn't stop me from wearing them. These are not 100% opaque in the deep bend but seriously who would even notice with this gorgeous print?

The full length pretty much fits the same as the crop version. The waist sits ever so slightly lower than the crops. The waistband sits right under my belly button which I find more comfortable. This is my personal preference. Anything that sits higher than my belly button always makes me feel uncomfortable. The only exception has been Lululemon's Align bottoms.

The length is of course super long on me and they scrunch up a lot as you can see in the above photo.  However since I'll be wearing these as a casual piece rather than a technical piece I don't mind. I just tuck them inside my boots or high top sneakers.  I'm bringing this pair with me to New York so I'm hoping to rock it in the city.

I decided to keep both pairs! I know, that's a little crazy right? But seriously, these are amazing. You will not regret it if you're even considering this print.

And this gorgeous top is coming soon! I am a little worried about how wide the neck is. I fear this might end up looking like an off the shoulder top on me, but we'll see. Werkshop is also having a Black Friday sale coming up!

I'm off to New York in the morning and still need to finish packing. I will be able to update with reviews while I'm in New York. I have some sneakers and bags coming up along with some petite friendly joggers!

Hope everyone has a great weekend and here is a picture of Sherlock hanging out in his cat cave. I'm going to miss this little guy so much! He will probably be double the size when I get back. I'm going to be gone for 9 days! That's an eternity for a kitten.

Gnite!

  2. Love the print I have 4 pAirs of workshop crops but might have to get the full length in these. Your not making my decision easier by keeping both.
