Fit Review! Cosmic Dot High Times Pant, Vinyasa Scarf, Express Jacket & Camo Legging

Today I went to the Natick Mall to see if the Lululemon store had the Cosmic Dot High Times and they did!  Super excited to see these in person.  I love the High Times Pant in general because the length of these is perfect on me.  They are supposed to be crops, but as long as I don't have to hem them and they're long enough that they can pass as pant length, it is fine with me!

These are Full On Luon which I prefer over regular Luon.  They have a smooth feel under my hands and not scratchy.  Regular Luon tends to stick to my fingers and hands.  Fit is TTS for me.  I took my regular size 4 in these.  I really like the print placement and the changes in color at my knees are perfect.  And in case you're wondering that is a new Vinyasa Scarf!

My eye caught a new Vinyasa Scarf at the store.  It's a pretty blue.  I think it might be Heathered Aquamarine?  Hopefully the website will have this up soon, I would like to know the exact name.  It's super soft and I think it's Rulu.

New Vinyasa.  Color???

The store also had the new Urban Warrior Duffle in Blooming Pixie Multi.  I want it.  It would make such a pretty weekender/travel bag.

I also dropped by Express to check out their active wear.  For the price point and quality I would say it isn't bad.  They had a sale going on for their active wear.  Buy one get one 50% off.  On top of that every $100 spent, you get another $25 off.  It is quite a bit in savings.  I tried on 2 pieces, the store didn't have too many options left in size XS.

Also I want to point out the lighting in the dressing room sucked!  The photos didn't come out as good because of how dark it was in there.  I tried on the Camo Grid Print EXP Core Compression Leggings.  The wide waistband was nice.  It wasn't too tight in the waist and pretty comfortable.  The length was too long on me, but that's not a surprise.

The Mesh Inset EXP Core Ruched Side Jacket was actually pretty cute.  I tried on the XS and it was snug but didn't feel too tight.  I was pretty surprised at how much I liked it.  The sleeves were quite long on me but they did have thumbholes.

I didn't buy anything from Express today but I would consider it if I was on a budget and needed new workout clothes.

    1. How many Vinyasas do you have? I've got 4 but I also have a ton of other scarves. My question always is how many is too many? lol!

  2. I'm embarrassed to say I have about 12. Bought my first one in 2011 (I think). And the sad part is I only consistently reach for about two of them. I suppose this is where the addiction is clearly evident!

    1. Oh wow, if you can part with some of them either donate or I think there's a decent resale on eBay. You can make some room for new ones!

    2. I've mainly sold things locally on Kijiji. I don't deal with eBay. But I have given some away to friends and family as gifts. Many still have their tags on! It's a guilty pleasure that doesn't break the bank...unless of course, you have a dozen of them. lol.

  3. By the way, the cosmic dot high times look great on you! They are very bold and not for me, but I admire those who can wear it. :)

    1. I bought them but I'm unsure if I'm keeping them. I like to wear high times out casually but these might be a tad crazy. But I always did like crazy!

  4. I go through phases. Sometimes I'll only buy black, navy and grey. And other times I'm all about bright colours. I think if you mainly have black bottoms, it's a nice change and will pair well with a multitude of tops.
I've had lulu items that I wasn't super crazy about, but I've never had complete remorse. Everything eventually gets worn. Most of their items stand the test of time.

    1. Sure, I'll see what I can do about that. Might have to enlist my husband to take some photos of me. Haha!

  6. You look great in high time! For me, the color Cosmic Dot gives me an eye sore for some reason. Must be my phobia for small clustery things. lol

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
