Money Talk - How much did I spend in 2025?

Since this is my No-Buy month, I thought I would talk about how much I spent last year on clothing. As someone who buys a lot of things to review on my blog, I spend a decent amount of money every year. However, as I get older my mindset is changing. I want to be more mindful with my shopping. I went back to look at my spending in 2022 and 2023 to see what the numbers were like. Keep in mind that this wasn't everything I bought, just the brands that I spent the most money with in terms of clothing. I started to spend a lot less on clothing in general in 2023. It's almost 50% less. Let's see what happend in 2024 and 2025. I spent a decent amount more in 2024, but still less than 2022. Considering the price increases in 2025 and Lululemon not producing anything I really wanted, I spent a lot less. If I didn't end up buying three jackets from Banana Republic, the total would have been a little over $3,000 for the year which would have been amazing. I also noticed Aviator...

Fit Review Friday! Frank & Eileen Barry Famous Denim and Barry Italian Flannel

Happy Friday! It's already the middle of January, where does the time go? Today's post is all about Frank & Eileen's Barry, a tailored button-up shirt. I purchased both of these a while back when they went on sale and I got them for 40% off. Just be aware that their sale items are final sale. However, since this isn't my first Barry, I already knew what size to get.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. I typically wear size XS in F&E. I also wear size 4/6 or XS/S in Lululemon and PXS in Athleta.  Barry Famous Denim Size Small The Barry runs small. I'm normally size XS in Frank & Eileen, but for the Barry I size up. I love their legendary denim fabric. It's extra soft and 100% cotton that tends to get softer with every wash. I already have one in a vintage faded blue, which I love but was intrigued when I saw it in this gray/brown color. The denim version has a distressed look to it with wrinkle details. It's not for everyone, but I lik...

New Releases Week of January 13th 2026

Wow, I don't even know where to begin! Was this the smallest, most uninspiring drop, ever? 😱 I didn't see that many new items and the ones I did see were so boring, I didn't bother to post about them. I mean, there can only be so many different shades of pink define jackets, you know? But here we are.... it does make me wonder if they are having some supply chain issues. At least my no-buy month is going great so far! 😆 I did find some very nice things from Banana Republic though. Some of the items remind me of the good old days from Anthropologie, like 15-20 years ago!  If anyone has any insight with what happened to today's drop, please let me know! I'm still waiting for a Plush Scuba but the chances of that happening seem to be slim to none.  Define Jacket Porcelain Pink Mary Train Sneaker Black (Okay, what in the world?! These are so bizarre but at the same time I'm very intrigued 😆) New from Athleta Retreat Linen Top Black (Linen is already back, but is...

Top 5 Most Used Handbags in 2025!

This post is overdue. I was supposed to have this up last week, but since I started the New Year sick, I had to postpone the video. If you want to find out the cost per wear for each bag, you'll have to watch the video. 😅 Here are my top 5 most used bags in 2025. Find out which one landed the number 1 spot! Coming in at number 5 spot is Mila Jito's Mirus Puffy. This is my first ever bespoke bag and it is a work of art. I honestly do not carry this bag as much as it deserves. I'm going to make it a point to use her more this year. It's seriously, one of my favorite bags in my collection. I wore it a total of 9 times in 2025. Mila.Jito Mirus Puffy My Review Loewe Medium Flamenco gets the number 4 spot. Purple is my favorite color and when I saw this pop up on Fashionphile, I went for it. I love the tulip shape design with the drawstrings on the sides offers a more playful side to this bag. You can wear it as a clutch or with the strap. I wore it a total of 10 times l...

Fit Review! Lululemon Split Shift Running Shoe

Happy Friday! First week of January already in the books. Today's review is the last Lululemon purchase I made in 2025. I've been curious about the Split Shift Running shoe ever since it was released, but I wasn't tempted to make the purchase until I saw it in Atmospheric Purple.  For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Lululemon and Allbirds. This is my normal shoe size.  Split Shift Running Shoe Atmospheric Purple Size 5.5 Just want to point out the reflective detail. In some angles, it looks pink/purple and in other lighting it looks green! It's super cool.  This is a rocker style running shoe with a 7mm heel to toe drop. I've worn this pair for about two weeks and they're very comfortable. I'm wearing my usual size 5.5 and they fit true to size, and note that I like to wear thick socks. If you do get a pair of these to try, I would highly recommend redoing the laces completely. Whoever initially did the laces, laced them up extremely tight. I thoug...
