Last weekend I got my hair colored for the first time since my college days. I wanted to try something new with how my hair looked. I couldn't do anything too crazy since I work as a receptionist for a pretty conservative company. I wanted more of a cherry red but my hair stylist said my virgin hair was very uncooperative and didn't want to give up my dark brown color. After about three hours I walked out looking like this: It's not quite as red as I was hoping for. He said next time I go back it will be more red like how I imagined. So afterwards I went to my local Ulta Beauty store to check out some products for red colored hair. I debated between Joico and Purelogy . Purelogy is fairly expensive. Almost $30 a pop for shampoo and conditioner. Joico is about half as much. I decided to give Joico a try. My hairstylist said to get something in the mid range for specifically red colored hair.
