Petite Impact

This was a very dangerous visit today.  Lots of new things to try on.  I think I went in with 10 items.   I was in that fitting room for a long long time. First up are the new Sapphire Blue in the Swiftly SS.  I love how soft the material felt and the blue is a very dark navy blue.  It's not as bright as I hoped, but I liked it enough to take it home.  $58.  Ouch!  But I already took it for a run and I'm pretty happy with the purchase.  It is my first Swiftly SS.  I would get more if there were other colors that interested me.  For reference I'm a size 4 in Swiftly tanks and tees.  I also wanted to try the long sleeve version as well, but the store didn't have a size 4.  Bummer. Love my neon green socks, don't you?  =) I'm also wearing the High Times Pant in the Space Dye Tender Violet in size 4.  These fit amazingly well and oh so soft.  I really want them but I don't think I could wear these out casually.  $98 for lounge pants kind of hurts.  

Here are some photos the surfaced today.  I'm not impressed with the pieces especially for the price.  Even if I won the lotto, I don't think I would want these pieces  I'm not crazy about the snakeskin print.  Unless you're a serious collector that's also a night runner, I would wait.  Who knows, maybe it will even hit WMTM? A quick run down, it's an 8 piece reflective collection.  This is an all black snake skin special consisting of ear warmer, jacket, leggings, cap, shorts and other staples to keep you warm.  These items will be released on Black Friday which is November 27th this year and I'm betting they will sell out fast.  Log on to the site early morning or run your butt to the store! Here are my picks for this week.  Lots of new goodies.  Sapphire in the swiftly LS & SL.  The Tender Violet high times and we finally get some Black Grape products! Swiftly LS in Heathered Sapphire Blue Swiftly SS in Heathered Sapphire Blue I don't have any long sleeve or short sleeve swiftly tops but now I might want to try.  I only buy the tanks usually.  But this I'm curious to see if my short body can pull it off.  I'll go to the store tomorrow and hopefully they'll have these in. First up, Tender Violet Down For A Run Jacket.  I love this color so much I wanted to give it another try, but sadly the back of the jacket is just too long on me.  The front looks fantastic, but the back just kills it for me.  I love the new Vinyasa scarf too.  Wish I knew what the name of the color was!  The jacket is a size 2.  I feel it is true to size.  Some people are put off by the contrasting panels but I don't mind it.   The dip on the butt just looks off.   New Vinyasa, super cute.  I might go back for it. The vest fit me better in a size 4.  The 2 was just too suffocating.  The back was not as long as the jacket on me, but I still left it behind since I don't have much use for vests.  If you're interested in the vest in this style, I suggest size up.
