I'm super excited about this review! It's my Christmas present to myself. Actually, this was supposed to be my birthday present but it arrived really early. This is a Mila.Jito bag and it's my very first bespoke handbag. It's one of a kind, at least until someone else requests the same exact bag as mine. If you're in the handbag community, the Birkin is considered a "holy grail" for so many. If you're unfamiliar with the Birkin, it's completely hand stitched using the saddle stitch method and takes about 40 hours to make. I got to see one in person back in February when I visited Fashionphile's flagship store in New York. I can't believe 2024 is pretty much over. Not going to lie, this year was hard for me. Especially the last half of the year. In July I lost my grandma who was like a mother to me. So, I did a lot of therapy shopping. Like A LOT. Mostly on bags. Retail therapy at it's finest. I decided for 2025, I really want to cut back on the purchases. And I'll kick off January with a hard spending freeze. Some people need a Dry January, I need a No Spend January. I really want to be more selective in 2025 and onwards. Do I really need it? Probably not. And I know my blog is all about reviews. I'll still review items. I just have to find a balance. Maybe I visit stores more often to do try-ons. I'll figure it out. A little odd that we're a week from Christmas and not many holiday items at all. It's weird, right? I mean my wallet is happy about it.
