Boston Warehouse Sale !

My alarm went off at 6am this morning so I could get ready to go to the Boston warehouse sale.  I arrived around 7:20am and the line was already a few hundred people deep.  Just makes me wonder if people camped out at midnight!  The sale started on time and I was able to get in around 8:20 am which wasn't bad.  My initial reaction to the sale was a bit of disappointment to be honest.  I'll admit that this was my first warehouse sale so I wasn't sure what to expect.

The racks of clothing were categorized by either tops or bottoms and then by size which made things so easy.  I did not see too much outerwear in general.  Definitely no Scubas or Define jackets.  I saw one down jacket in a size 2 but it was gone by the time I doubled back to look at it again.  I hoped to see some running crops, but instead there were tons of In the Flow Crops.  I picked up a pair in the bordeaux and gray.  I didn't bother to try anything on as I pretty much knew what size I am in bottoms and tops.

Here's my loot for today!

I'm happy with everything except the Roll Down Boogie shorts in the moody mirage print.   They are  too tight on me.  The purple fog Boogie shorts have a black mark on the back which I'm very sad about.  I didn't notice it until I got home.  I absolutely love the purple vinyasa scarf I picked up!  For $19 who can pass up a soft snuggly scarf?

The checkout line was pretty long after an hour and a half from opening.

I will say they were very organized.  However once your purchase was paid for the cashiers removed all the tags from the items.  I think it is to prevent returns and possibly resale?  I wasn't sure.  I didn't ask.

Here's a photo of the prices.

Overall I'm happy I went, and would probably go again if there was another one I could easily get to!

Was anyone else there today?  What did you buy?  I would love to see!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Review! Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Size Small Plus Video

You all know I love my bags, and as a Balenciaga collector, I don't often stray from the City and First style. The Rodeo (pronounced like Rodeo Drive) really caught my eye. It gives off a slouchy Hermes Kelly vibe, but way more practical to use.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Small The Rodeo can be carried a few ways. It comes with a crossbody strap that is not adjustable but it is removable. Not sure why anyone wouldn't add a few extra holes to make a strap adjustable these days. Come on Balenciaga! Do better! The top handle is a bit too long for this to work anyhow, I feel like the top handle gets in the way. It sticks out and doesn't sit well in my opinion. I wouldn't carry this bag crossbody unless it was an unforeseen emergency and I really needed my hands free. This bag looks more chic carried by the handle or crook of the arm. It also looks nice left open with the help of the flap tucked in. The Rodeo resembles the Kelly bag ...

Fit Review! Aviator Nation Navy Hoodie 5 Stripe

Is it already Monday? This weekend just flew by. For the first time since early 2020, I met up with a friendly neighbor and we went out for dim sum. At the end we hugged since I hadn't seen her in forever. I told her, "You're the first person I hugged since the pandemic started that isn't my husband!" 😄  For today's post, this is a hoodie I've been dying to try for months but kept putting it off because of the price tag. Aviator Nation is not cheap. Not a whole lot makes me pause because I'm used to seeing Lululemon hoodies priced at $128-$138. Aviator Nation comes in at a whopping $189.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and I am wearing a size XS in Aviator Nation. For Lululemon tops I typically wear a size 4. 5 Stripe Hoodie  Navy Size XS The interesting thing about Aviator Nation is their hoodies are unisex sizing. The available sizes are XS-XXL. The female model is shown wearing size XS while the male model is shown wearing size large. I took a c...
