I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Nothing for me this week again. I'm not hating the French Terry Hoodie, but alas, it iis cropped. If you spy one for a try-on, I'd love to see how short it looks :). Also, I have absolutely no idea on sizing for this one. It's oversized everywhere except for the waist. Tricky.

Hi Lola! Yes everything is just so cropped! I like this Faded French Terry hoodie but not for nearly $200. And I'd probably need an XXS which they don't have.

Yes, the Faded French Terry Hoodie is kind of cool, but SO expensive! The colors it comes in are not so great either, in my opinion.

I missed the lettuce socks, but they are really cute! I'm interested in those, too. I like the french terry shorts and am happy to see they are mid-rise. I can't believe I'm saying it, but I'm tired of high rise and feeling like my pants are at my ribs all of the time. The only immediate buy for me was the sonic pink never lost keychain. It is one of my favorite colors.
ReplyDeleteThe french terry hoodie fits similarly to the loungeful hoodie from a few months ago. It has really big batwings and a tight waist. I like the double zipper.
Hi LZ! Same, I am all about mid rise. I can't do high rise because of them, I just feel suffocated when the waist hits my ribs!
DeleteI love the lettuce edge socks! They look cute with a pair of shortie boots too. I've been buying them from American Eagle though. They tend to pill a bit after a bunch of wears, so I could see spending the extra money for a nicer pair could be worth it. The Bombas are cute and I'm sure the quality is much better than AE. I've had good luck with Lulu socks too.
ReplyDeleteHi Stacy! I ordered from Bombas, I couldn't pass up the cherries. They would look cute with anything I'm sure! The last time I ordered socks from Lulu they were too big and I ended up giving them to my sister. But they were good quality socks. Bombas tend to run small and fit me well.
