New Releases Week of March 31st 2026

Nothing for me from Lulu this week, but I'm currently obsessing over Frank & Eileen's Mini Belfast in what looks like a light denim but it's really soft terry. I can't stomach the retail price though. Sigh. Also waiting for Fount to drop the Mini Sloane bag. I'm eyeing it in Wolf. Did you order anything this week? I decided to keep the Banana Republic Oversized Linen shirt in Chambray. So that's number 6/24 items for the year so far!

(The fact that you can wear this as a dress is wild, see 2nd pic. 😅)

(This is a pretty nice looking raincoat)

(I don't hate this, but it would come down to my ankles on me)

(I don't understand the Butter Cream obsession, but all I know is this would make me look really yellow) 😆

(I'm all about a nice blazer and this reminds of the blazer Annette Bening wore. I recently just watched that episode in Love Story, except this Lulu blazer would probably look more like I stole Jared's blazer)

Apologies if I have repeated some of these items, I'm so busy at work that my brain can't remember anything anymore!

(This looks super cute, I'll have to see if I can get a try on at the store)

(I'm very interested in this too! I'll see if I can go to the store this weekend for a try on)

I am very excited for the Mini Sloane bag from Fount. I have the original size and it's fantastic. Has a super nice slouch and the leather feel is amazing.

(I'm obsessed with this look! So much $$ though)

  1. Jared called it on the cactus, it seems to be popping up everywhere this season! The blazer looks unflattering on the model as is, with all the binder clips and camera magic 😆

    1. Hi AC! Cactus green is growing on me. I think it's one of the few shades of green that I can actually pull off.

I always forget that they have binder clips on these models. But you're right, it would be a sack in real life. 🤣

    2. Did you hear about the news on your beloved All Birds? Thankfully you have a huge stockpile before the sale 😊

    3. I did! I saw the news yesterday. I'm a little sad about it, but we'll see what happens!

  2. I’m kind of interested in those Athleta barrel pants because linen, but I don’t know. Have you tried barrel pants? I bought a pair of fleece lined barrel pants from Title Nine for a trip in January. Once I tried them on I said nope. They were not flattering at all. I am wondering if these, because linen is a much lighter fabric, would be better.

    1. Hi there, I did try a pair of barrel pants from Athleta last year, but it was a thicker material as well. I am going to see if they have a pair of the linen barrel pants for me to try on when I visit the store. It might work, especially if it's petite sizing.

  3. I like the 2-1 Maxi Dress but will only wear it as a skirt lol. Not a fan of green shadow but I must say Willow Leaf is gorgeous.

I used to spend money on LLL at least once a month but my last purchase was the Always Effortless Jacket in Twig which I got in early January. With the recent price increase and new styles gearing towards a younger demographic, I can see myself buying less LLL items, which will mostly be accessories.

    1. Hi Andrea! I actually haven't bought any Lulu items in 2026! The price just doesn't seem worth it to me anymore, but I still check it out in the hopes there's something worth buying. My closet has so much of it still, but Athleta and BR are closing in the gap. But I agree, Lulu is marketing hard towards Gen Z. I'm too young for Lulu now haha.

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...
