New Releases Week of February 17th 2026



Happy Lunar New Year! It's the year of the Fire Horse which means this can be a very chaotic and intense year. Horse year has a lot of energy and to tame it down a notch I've been told to neutralize the choas by wearing earth tones; browns, greens, neutrals. 😮 Has anyone else heard this? 

Back to today's post. I'm really having a hard time finding items worthy to post about from Lululemon's drop. This is the second week in a row where I am really struggling!

Okay story time. I have been waiting for this suede jacket to be released on Banana Republic for a little while, and I thought what are the chances this is a men's leather jacket?? So I went to look and YES IT IS a men's jacket. This jacket is also shown in a video and the suede just looks so soft.

I originally thought it was the women's trucker jacket, but the cut is different. The men's drapes like it's a shirt rather than a jacket.

    Another boring upload from LLL. The last two items I bought from them were the Wunder Puff Jacket and the Always Effortless Jacket which I already had in other colors. The new version of the AEJ is interesting but I just don’t have that “Oh I need this!” feeling. -_-

    I used to look forward to Tuesdays because of new LLL uploads …

      I still haven't made any purchases this year at Lululemon. The AEJ sold out in Twig. I am left with WP Vest in Twig which I am hesitating because it's going to be too warm to wear the vest very soon in Atlanta. I also have a pair of Cityverse in my cart too. I'm tempted to try a pair.

      Too bad you didn't manage to get the AEJ in Twig. :( The vest in Twig looks gorgeous too (I have the jacket) and you might want to see it in person.

      I would love to see a fit review on Cityverse. :)

      I know, I should just place an order just to see! Haha. The Cityverse will definitely happen. Trying to decide between the LNY edition or the white pair. Any thoughts?

      I actually like Downtown Tan and Warm Ash Grey (microsuede) in men’s version!

      If I had to choose between White and Burgundy (microsuede), I would go for White but you already had a pair of white HOKA sneakers, right?

      I agree, I like the Warm Ash Grey Microsuede best. Bah!

      I do have a white pair of HOKA but they are not my favorite pair. I wouldn't mind replacing them with the Cityverse if they are comfy enough.

    I agree, the upload was pretty lack-lustre again. I'm ready for spring colors! I looked at the EasyFive pants on the Hong Kong website - I'd be interested in them if they come in a short length.

    I thought the Seasoft Full Zip looked pretty good as well! Did they just rename Abalone to Zephyr? It looks like the same color to me. I'm not cool about the price on the Canadian site. I think $130 is kind of silly.

      Zephyr does look like Abalone. It's probably like one shade different lol. Price is $109 for us, which isn't bad if it goes on sale. I'll see if I can try it on next time I go to the store.

    That's so sad about the BR coat!! I hate it when that happens. You see a great photo of an item and patiently wait, maybe dream up a few outfits, only to find out that it's not at all what it seemed.

    I'm eyeing the performance joggers in Stellar Sky. I can't find any IRL photos though. It looks like a fun, bright grape purple, but I'm thinking it may actually lean more blue in person.

      Hi Stacy! I know.... I'm so sad over it. Sigh. I doubt I'll be able to pull off men's coats.

      I looked at Stellar Sky on the website, it does look like the perfect mix of blue and purple. Very nice pop of color!

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

  Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

  So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

  I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48.
