I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...
I kinda liked this drop! I missed out on the Psychedelic Print last year, so I'm looking hard at the Wundertrain shorts. I also want to try the CrossCity Sneaker, but I'm unwilling to pay $198 CAD for them - I hope my size is left in the mauve color if or when they go on markdown! And I'm still waiting for an item I want in Chilled Grape!
ReplyDeleteAs for the Align No Line leggings: it's about time! Other brands have been doing this for years. I've never had any fit issues with the front seam in regular Aligns, but I think the lack of a front seam gives them a cleaner look.
Hi Lola! I think I need to look into a new pair of sneakers. It's been a little while since I bought a new pair from Allbirds. Maybe I need to look into Lulu! Love the mauve color too.
DeleteYeah I kinda thought the front seam is a little distracting on the Aligns but without them, it also looks a little weird LOL! I can't decide if I like it or not.
I'm not a fan of the no front seam aligns. It shows off imperfections more and makes any camel toe situation more obvious since there's nothing to break up the pant or distract the eye.
ReplyDeleteThe raspberry bag is so cute! I can't imagine what I'd pair it with and it would probably be a very occasional use, but it's fun!
That's a good point about the no front seams. Probably why I can't decide which ones I like more. Now I am leaning towards the seams.
DeleteThe color is really cute in an accessory. I hope to see more!
I really like Pink Organza. It's very similar to Meadowsweet Pink but slightly darker (when I compared to my Fast & Free Shorts). It's almost giving Miami Pink vibes - one of my fav colors ever.
ReplyDeleteWe call Mauve Grey "corpse" color at work, haha!
I'm not into the No Line Aligns. The front seam doesn't bother me, and I don't care to go to the trouble of trying to hide what my body looks like. If I have camel toe, then so be it. :)
Hi LZ! Pink Organza is very pretty. A little too sweet for me though!
DeleteOH NOOOO why is it a corpse color! Does it look bad on skin tone?
Yeah, I hear you. The older I get, the more I don't give a crap on most days!
Lol - it just looks a bit drab. I do see how it could be neutral and a nice change from bone, ivory, sheer oak, etc. - especially for a purple lover like yourself!
DeleteBoth Mauve Grey and Warm Ash Grey are pretty but I’m not sure if the colors will compliment my skin tone.
ReplyDeleteAndrea
Hi Andrea! Between the two I prefer Mauve Gray. But agree, I need to try it on and see if it looks nice on my skin tone. I'm going by the store this weekend, hopefully I get to see it in person!
