Happy Friday!! My Blissfeel Running Shoes shipped. I hope to have my initial review up next week and then I'll have a more in-depth review after I've worn them for a bit and I'll even run in them for science. 😂 I'm not a runner, but I did train for a 10K back in the day, it's been awhile since I did a run. It'll be interesting to see if I can still run 2 miles.
Today I have for you a comparison between Cates Tee and Classic-Fit Cotton-Blend T-Shirt. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically a size 4 in Lululemon tops but not today!
I've reviewed the
Cates Tee in the past in size 4, but for the
Heathered Core Light Gray I decided to size up for a slightly longer length. Sizing up also means it's slightly wider as well. I actually do not mind the looser fit. These days I'm all about comfort.
I'll link to my two previous reviews of the Cates Tee in the size 4. Looking at the photos, there really isn't that much difference between the size 4 and the size 6.

Next up we have the
Perfectly Oversized Cropped Crew Softstreme White Opal. I've reviewed this pullover a few times before and it's one of my favorites. I tried really hard not to purchase another one, but White Opal is really pretty in person and couldn't pass it up. I'm a bit of a klutz especially when I'm eating, so I don't think I'll be able to keep this clean, but I still love it. It just looks so good with everything and anything.
I'm wearing my usual size 0 in this top. It's not too cropped on me, and honestly the size 2 would be fine in the body, except the sleeves are just a touch too long. As you can see, the sleeves are too long, but still passable in size 0.
The back of the t-shirt has a seam going down the middle and then an arch. Not sure what the purpose of the seam is, but it does make it look a little bit different from the Cates Tee. The price is $58 which is $10 more than the Cates Tee. Would I purchase another one? I just might if Lulu were to release it in Mineral Blue!

With Lululemon's BlissFeel Running Shoe launch, I'm very curious to see how they compare to Allbirds Tree Dashers which are my favorite shoe. Lululemon definitely has the name going for them, but competition will be intense in the footwear world. Plus their pricing is definitely higher than Allbirds. The big question is, are they worth it? In the meantime if Lulu's pricing is out of reach for you, Allbirds is dropping their biggest sale.

DeleteI have a Wool Piper Mids. I do enjoy wearing them but will say Tree Dashers are still the most comfiest hands down. These are good for casual walking- not too many miles and they're warm.

Thank you, Leslie! I read your review on Wool Pipers Ironbark Limited Edition as well. My favorite is hands down Wool Runner Mizzles. I find the Dashers not hugging my feet as nice as the Wool Runner Mizzles around the heels. I’m thinking of getting another pair of Wool Runner Mizzles in Dapple Grey.
