Just wanted to write a quick post letting you all know I'm back in Atlanta. It was really nice to spend some time with my grandma. She was really happy seeing everyone together. I'm glad to be home with my fur babies and husband even though I miss my grandma. I am quite behind on writing posts but will get back to it next week! Hope everyone has a lovely weekend! Greetings from NY! Super quick review of this gorgeous Scuba Hoodie Sashiko in Onyx. I purchased this on WMTM in my usual size 2 in Scuba Hoodies and the fit is true to size and similar to all my other ones. The color is a deep saturated blue. This version is very soft to touch and I love all the ribbing details along the back and sides. I'm actually really tempted to order a second color in true navy. Scuba Hoodie Sashiko in Onyx Size 2 The hood is definitely oversized but I personally love large hoods, so it doesn't bother me. The sleeves are long and the cuffs around the wrists does not feel too tight. When zipped up, I do not feel restricted in the shoulders or chest. This is the last push for Mother's Day and there's a lot of red ruby wine. I guess most mother's drink wine after a long day of work/kids? I was going to post this up for Fit Review Friday, but then I had to drop everything and head over to New York. My grandma who is 95 years old isn't doing well. She spent Thursday night at the hospital and I was getting all these texts from my family about how she could no longer use her limbs. Her whole body became numb. They initially thought she had a stroke, but after a whole slew of tests it turned out to be negative. No one knows why she's can't feel any of her limbs. My grandma suspects it's all the steroid shots and acupuncture she had done a few weeks ago. I was just so worried, I wouldn't make it to see her. At 95, you just don't know when it's your time to go. It really could be at any moment. I'm very close to my grandma, she raised me from the day I was born. We're very close and she's basically my mother to me. Seeing her like this is very hard. I hope over time whatever that was done will wear off and she will regain some feeling

For those of you looking for my usual fit review Friday, my apologies. There's a family emergency and I have to fly back to NYC tonight. I had one of those mentally exhausting days and when I got home from work last night I just crawled into bed. I'll be in New York for the next eleven days. I will post more from the east coast.

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Saturday night was date night. We watched Infinity War. It was ah-mazing! Hope to watch it again in IMAX soon. I can't wait for the next installment. The ending was definitely jaw dropping. Today I have a fit review on the Gather Up Jacket in dusty dawn. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and typically wear a size 4 in tops. Sometimes a size 2. Gather Up Jacket Dusty Dawn Size 2 also wearing Align Crop (old)  This jacket feels really soft. That's the first thing I noticed. It's a light to medium weight jacket with ruching detail in the front of the jacket. I asked my husband what he thought of it and he said it looks like it shrunk funny in the dryer. That made me laugh but I can kind of see his point of view. The back reminds me of the Define Jacket but this jacket is more boxy and cropped.
