Fit Review Friday! BlankNYC Moto Suede Jacket Burgundy

Happy Friday everyone! I'm about to pull the trigger on some Lululemon items I've been eyeing. I'm in dire need of some retail therapy from the last two weeks. Sherlock is still recovering from his MRI and spinal tap and we are still waiting for results to come in. The waiting is just so nerve wracking. BlackNYC Suede Moto Jacket Size XS  40% off! Here's a quick review on this amazing suede moto jacket I purchased last month. It's still on sale for 40% off at Nordstrom.  Being as petite as I am, it's always a challenge to find a jacket that really fits. This is my first suede jacket and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The suede is thick and soft. The quality is very nice for the price. It actually looks a lot more expensive than what it costs. The fit is casual, not too tight anywhere across the back, chest or shoulders. I've tried on some leather jackets where it is actually hard for me to zip up because of my short torso and to

Out of everything that's been uploaded tonight I'm liking the Swiftly in quicksand. I don't know why I'm such a sucker for Swiftly tanks. I just bought the pink paradise color last month and while I do really love it, how many tanks does one need? I'm also eyeing a couple of the FTBW bras, but that I actually do need. I could use a few more since I'm always running out of bras and then I'm forced to do laundry. I have a few things in my cart, but am holding off. I want to try and make it to a store but we'll see how long I can hold out. Anything for you tonight? Swiftly Racerback Quicksand (Have this in my cart) Love Sleeveless Tank Porcelain Pink (For $38 I'm kinda tempted more so than the Swiftly) Sweat Date Singlet Misty Moss   (I actually really like all 4 colors in this tank!) 2018 Resolutions and Sherlock Update

First of all I just want to thank everyone who has left a comment for Sherlock. He appreciates all of them! Thank you all for showing support and sending him your thoughts and prayers. 🙏 A couple of weeks ago, I stumbled across this article in the New York Times  that basically talks about how this author spends an entire year not shopping. Yup you read that right, no shopping for an entire year. It's a very interesting read. She decided not to purchases any shoes, clothing, purses or jewelry. I honestly don't think I could last that long without purchasing anything for a year. Plus the whole purpose of my blog is to review things I purchase. Thinking it through, while I would definitely want to purchase less considering how much I already have in my closet makes sense. Every year I'm adding more and more so this year I want to be really selective about what I keep. My goal for myself is to only purchase one item per month. This includes clothing, footwear, and purs

Update On Sherlock!

Sherlock is still not well. His condition seems to change every day. Sometimes in the morning he looks worse. Then at night he seems a little better. It's so hard to tell. We took him to the vet yesterday and they're not convinced he has a tail pull and wants us to get him to a neurologist for more testing. So we have an appointment with a neurologist on Monday.  We also bought a nanny cam so we can see what he's doing while we're at work. 95% of the time when I check he's just sleeping. But tonight while I was trying to sneak a workout in he was running back and forth like a mad man. Went into the room and his litter was everywhere . He also managed to sit in his water bowl, and stepped into his food bowl. I had a blog post planned for tonight but I haven't been able to write it since I've been spending most of my time at home with Sherlock. I will definitely have a post up over the weekend. Thank you for reading my blog and hope everyon

Upload! January 9th 2018

So not a whole lot of new items were uploaded today. The Taryn Toomey collection is back. I didn't get anything from the collection when it was first uploaded and now that there's a second chance I'm tempted to try the Awakening Crop in misty mauve.  Otherwise, Ready to Rulu wrap is interesting. I also really like the new Persian blue color. I'm hoping they release it in some kind of crop version for petites! Anything for you this week? Swiftly LS Foxglove Ready To Rulu Wrap Heathered Nocturnal Teal (I kinda like this, but not sure about the ties at the hem)   Back In Action LS V Heathered Petals Train Times 7/8 Pant Persian Blue (I really like this color, wish they would release some crops in this!) Wunder Under Hi-Rise 7/8 Tight Persian Blue Align Pant So Merlot I think some pieces of the Taryn Toomey Collection are worth posting again, especially for those who missed out on them the first time around. Review Coach Rogue 1941

How is everyone doing so far? I've been thinking about New Year's resolutions and will blog about that next. But first I want to talk about one of my gifts I received for Christmas from my husband. My husband surprised me with this Coach Rogue bag. I've been looking at it for a while but wasn't sure if I could pull off the size. It's a much bigger bag than any of my current ones I own and it's also very structured. Most of my bags are slouchy. I've been debating for two weeks if I should keep this or return it. Coach Rogue Oak also wearing BlankNYC Suede Moto Jacket  -on sale! (I will have a review up soon)  Coach actually dropped the price on this bag and it's currently 50% off right now. What I really like about this bag is the suede. It's really super soft suede that I think will eventually break in and slouch nicely.  It's a top handle bag with two shoulder straps that are removable. You can also hook the two straps toget
