Petite Impact

Last month I tried on the Brooklyn Ankle Pant at the Athleta store in size 0. Here's the link of my review in case you missed it. The length was too long on me so I ordered it in petite 0 from the website. It finally arrived and I wore it out today. I love it so much I placed another order for a pair in black. The 25 inch length is perfect!  Brooklyn Ankle Pant  Size 0P  I'm wearing my Allbirds wool runners here, but I'm thinking once it is a little warmer and when we can all go outside again without any worries, these will look great with my Birkenstocks . Happy Friday! Banana Republic is offering an extra 60% off sale styles today. I tried on this super cute faux fur bomber at the store recently.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches and typically a size PXS/XS in Banana Republic. Size 4 in Lululemon tops and size XXS/PXS in Athleta tops. I was pretty impressed with how soft the faux fur is. I'm wearing size XS here and it works because the style of the jacket is cropped. The bomber look is something that never really goes out of style in my opinion and I like the ribbed cuffs and hem. The thick collar is also also a nice touch. The jacket hits at the hip and does not cover the bum. This jacket is semi fitted and very comfortable in the size XS. Sleeves are the perfect length. The style is really cute. I love the stripe twill pattern that runs diagonally. It comes with a collar tab that is removable. J.Crew Sophie Lightweight Sweater Blazer Today I have for you the new J.Crew Sophie Lightweight Sweater Blazer. I have the fall winter version in 2 colors and decided to try the new version that's great for spring and air conditioned summer.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically a size PXS or XXS in sweaters/tops.  For this sweater blazer I'm wearing a size XXS. This sweater runs true to size in my opinion. I like the casual look of the sweater. If you want a more fitted look size down one size.  The question that I really wanted to know the answer to - is the sweater really thinner than the fall/winter version? The answer is - yes, but only ever so slightly. It's made out of cotton, polyester and wool. It's definitely very soft to touch

Happy Friday everyone! Just have a short fit review for you all. I received a tip on Instagram to try the Ready To Roll Pant from Ivviva. I purchased them in black in size 12. Sometimes being this petite has its advantages. I for one do not mind wearing girls clothing. They fit better, and cost only a fraction of the adult version. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and typically a size 4 in Lululemon bottoms. In Ivviva, a size 12 fit comfortably. Ready To Roll Pant Black Size 12 The length fits my short 26 inch inseam perfectly. The waist is comfortable, I did not find it to be too loose or too tight. These do not have a drawstring, which I'm actually fine with. Sometimes the drawstring makes my waist look too bulky. The fabric is soft rulu and right now all three colors are on sale for $44! These come in a pretty heathered grape and herringbone black. My one and only gripe with these sweat pants are the pockets. Happy Friday everyone! I've come down with a cough since I got back from NYC. Sherlock is sitting next to me as I type up this blog post. It's so funny the way he reacts to noises. I was watching The Walking Dead the other day and he's sitting there watching along with me.
