My trip to NYC --> Boston --> Newport -->NYC --> Atlanta

Now that I've been back home for a couple of days, I wanted to share some photos from my trip over the last 2 weeks.  Traveling is fun, but I really missed sleeping in my bed and being able to control the air conditioner at night.  I can't sleep unless it's 72 degrees or cooler.  Anyone else out there with me on this?  My body generates so much heat when I'm sleeping. Times Square at night. Sometimes I do miss NYC, but most of the time I really don't.  One of my biggest complaints is the air pollution.  It's pretty disgusting when you combine the heat, humidity and the cigarette smoke from everyone walking around the streets in the summer.  It actually made my asthma spike along with allergies I get in the northeast.  I'm still recovering from it. This is my 92 year old grandma. I love my grandma dearly which is why I go back to New York to visit as often as I do.  She's getting up there in age and at 92 years old, how many more chances

Lululemon Flatiron NY - Behind The Design Event

It was definitely way more low key than I expected.  I got there exactly at 8am and didn't see a line, no crowd, nothing!  The store didn't look like it was open.  I actually thought for a minute that maybe I was at the wrong Lululemon location.  I checked my phone just in case I was mistaken and right then a couple walked in so I followed.  (I have this thing where I don't like to be the only customer in a store.) I went in hopes of finally seeing the Wunder Speed Tights in florence print, but sadly they were not there.  I actually didn't see anything new.  No one checked my event ticket, so anyone could have just walked in.  I am glad I went since they did give 15% off your entire purchase. It was fairly empty.   I would say maybe a total of 20 to 30 customers trickled in within the hour that I was there.  The educators were super nice and friendly.  I asked them if they were discontinuing the Free To Be Wild Bra since I haven't seen any new patterns o

Behind The Design Event for Fall First Look!

I'm pretty excited to attend this event on Friday.  I'll definitely be reporting back with photos and deets.  If anyone is also attending this on Friday let me know!  I'll be there at 8am.  Would love to meet you all! I've already added it to my Passbook.  I hope the 15% off discount and $25 Gift Card are true.

Store Visit to Lululemon Lab in NYC! Knitt Hoodie Review!

When Lululemon Lab opened up in NYC back in March I was a little upset that I was moving to Atlanta and wouldn't get a chance to visit the store anytime soon.  Well since I'm back in NYC this month I decided to make it a point to go.   50 Bond Street, NYC The store is very stark with black and white colors with a little beige here and there. Interesting hand bags, however they were not made by Lululemon. Women's clothing - geared for summer. More women's selections - black or white only Men's side of the store Since it is summer and getting hot and humid, I don't see the appeal of wearing black clothing.  I also do not have a job at the moment so the price points were totally out of my league.  The styles are all geared for office wear, which sadly I don't work in an office anymore so none of it appealed to me.  The only piece I thought I could work into my wardrobe was the Knitt Hoodie that came in black and white
