Store Try Ons! J.Crew Essential T-shirt & Linen Roll-cuff T-Shirt

Happy Friday everyone! J.Crew is having a really good sale right now. 40% off full price items and an extra 50% off sale items. I stocked up on a few staple pieces for work. J.Crew tees are pretty much all I wear to the office. I'm wearing a size XS which I find to be very comfortable and it is semi-fitted. They are the perfect mid-weight tee. I'm also a big fan of their vintage tees which are very light weight and perfect for hot summers. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and typically a size 4 in Lululemon or size XXS/XS in J.Crew tops. Essential T-Shirt Heather Dolphine Size XS These two colors are currently excluded from the promo, but they have select colors on sale . Check back next week because I managed to get the black and gray for 30% off. J.Crew offers new deals every week. Essential T-shirt Black Size XS  also wearing On The Fly Crop Size 4 (currently on sale.) I also picked up their Linen Roll-cuff T-shirt in navy and blac

J.Crew Sophie Open Front Sweater Blazer

About a year ago I purchased the Sophie open-front sweater blazer in heather gray , and I wear it almost once a week. I thought the navy would make a great addition to my work wardrobe. This sweater blazer is made of mid to light weight cotton blend fabric and is perfect to wear all year round at the office.  Sophie open-front sweater blazer   I'm wearing my usual XXS in J.Crew. I would say this sweater blazer runs large. It's possible I could size down to XXXS, but since I don't really have any complaints wearing XXS, I stuck with it.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and typically wear a size 4 in Lululemon and size PXS in Athleta. The sleeves are 7/8 length and because I'm so petite, they're almost full length on me. Sometimes I'll roll them up a little bit to style it but most of the time I just leave it down at the office. The length of this sweater blazer covers the bum but it's not too long that it overwhelms my petit

Fit Review! J.crew Going Out Blazer & Athleta Mercer Herringbone Tight

Another weekend already gone. I won't ever understand how the weekend can go by so quickly. Last month I wrote a review on J.Crew blazers and one of the ones I wrote about was the Going Out Blazer . I originally purchased it in navy, but returned it because I ended up keeping a different one in the same color. I reordered the Going Out Blazer in heathered dove gray but I'm unsure if it looks as nice as it does in navy. For reference I'm 4 feet 11. For J.Crew I usually wear 2P in tops or size 0 in regular. For Athleta I'm a PXS in bottoms. Going Out Blazer Heathered Dove Gray Size 0 Just to write a quick review, the size 0 fits perfectly in length, sleeves, and shoulders. There is no need to get the petite version unless you want a cropped sleeve. I personally prefer full length sleeves on a blazer. It's a fairly budget friendly blazer that can be worn to work and on the weekends paired with jeans. Right now J.Crew is having a 30% off with code AUTUM

Review J.Crew Lightweight Sweater Blazer

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Happy Easter to those who celebrate it. We had some friends visit from New York and ate way too much food. I'll have to write a post about it! J.Crew Sophie Lightweight Sweater Blazer Today I have for you the new J.Crew Sophie Lightweight Sweater Blazer. I have the fall winter version in 2 colors and decided to try the new version that's great for spring and air conditioned summer.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically a size PXS or XXS in sweaters/tops.  For this sweater blazer I'm wearing a size XXS. This sweater runs true to size in my opinion. I like the casual look of the sweater. If you want a more fitted look size down one size.  The question that I really wanted to know the answer to - is the sweater really thinner than the fall/winter version? The answer is - yes, but only ever so slightly. It's made out of cotton, polyester and wool. It's definitely very soft to touch

WMTM & Random Musings

Not much of a WMTM update today, but a few things I'd like to mention. I surprisingly really like this yoga bag. I just don't have any real need for one! The Yoga Bag $39 The Yoga Bag $39 Ready To Rulu Turtleneck $59 So now that I have a full time job that requires me to actually dress up, and by dressing up I mean business casual. I've been looking at clothing that I could wear to the office and outside of the office. A turtleneck would work, but I think I would just get too hot and there's nothing worse than sweating and not able to take it off! But I love rulu and this definitely caught my eye. If you get cold easily this might be for you.  Layer Me Turtleneck $59 Here's another option. This one is even more work appropriate, it's more fitted.  Swiftly Racerback $44 How is everyone's week going? How is your frugal February going so far? I'm wrapping up my first week at my new job and my ban is going fantastic. I'm
