New Releases Week of August 5th 2025

Large drop today from Lulu, but I am going to be more selective with their items. I'll also start including more brands, but it will be a learning curve for me since I don't know how often other brands will be releasing new items. I'm actually most excited about Mooncat and Varley this week! Let me know what caught your eye.

(Def Gen Z marketing here. But I like the print!)

($98! 😫)

(Has anyone tried this bra? It looks so comfy!)

(These look fun!)

New Arrivals From Athleta

(I can't tell you how sad I am that Athleta is no longer making these in a cropped length. The petite sizing is still too long for me. 😩)

(Will probably give these another try, maybe the cut has changed since I last tried these?)

(ohhhh I actually really like this color, looks like a nice camel!)

(Loving this new color too, also available in matching hoodie.)

(They really are jumping on the cropped trend now. This is their most cropped hoodie so far.)

These two Varley pieces look so nice. Would love to add these two pieces to my closet for fall.
I love love love fall clothes the most.
😍

I haven't been this excited for a Mooncat collection in a long time! If you're a fan of cyberpunk or even the Matrix, this is for you. My top pick from this collection is easily 404: Soul Not Found.

(This is a magnetic regular nail polish, not gel.)

  1. The new Vuori stuff made me squeal today. I love Huckleberry, and that Magenta!!!! I really want the Halo Modern Pullover Hoodie in that color, but I'm not forking out $150 CAD plus shipping for it. Sigh....

    1. Hi Lola! Yikes, that is a lot for the pullover hoodie. I'm almost 100% sure you'll eventually see it on markdown in Magenta. I'm loving the Nutmeg heather, reminds me of a camel suede...

    2. Yes, Nutmeg is a very pretty neutral. I really like the Halo Cardigan in that color! I think you're right about Magenta eventually going on markdown. It's not a very versatile color.

    3. The Cardigan is really cute too. Really wish Vuori would offer a cropped length for their wide legs. I would love a matching set!

  2. Okay, I think I need to try Mooncat....so pretty! Honestly, I'm just kind of over clothes right now. I have enough, and it's just the same stuff in different colors. I'm bored!

    1. Hi LZ! I pretty much feel the same way. I haven't seen anything that I just have to have. It's been a while since that's happened. I have my eye on a few things, but it's not screaming at me to check out.
I would def give Mooncat a try! The magnetics are my favorite. They take some time to do, but so worth the effort.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
