First drop of the month! And it's a big one. Lots of hiking items, if I did hike, I would be pretty excited. Some of the items look really cool. A couple of new colors debuted today- Dark Oxide, Laurel Green, Altered Nature Multi. Lots of shorts today as well! Finally! ReplyDeleteI was really looking forward to the convertible hiking joggers, as I do hike, fish, and other outdoor activities which require lightweight pants. The price, though!! Mayyyyyybe on WMTM - otherwise, no.
HK also got a Lightweight 1/2 Zip Mesh Pullover that looks really nice. No matter the price, I think I'll grab it if/when it launches in the US. I know I'll regret it if I don't. I almost settled for the Rulu 1/2 Zip Pullover that uploaded in a couple of colors today, but I know the collar will drive me crazy. I dislike Defines for the same reason. The colors that released last time weren't my favs, and Pastel Blue *is* one of my favs, but no.
The Ribbed Knit Cropped Tank in Lemon Sorbet (love that color but still waiting for the right item) looks nice, but I don't really wear lounge-y pieces - and for $78?? Another no.
Hi LZ! I agree, there are lots of interesting items from today's drop, but the prices are high, and it's a reason why I didn't place an order. I would like a few more pairs of shorts, but will wait for more Hotty Hots. Those are the ones I really want, even though Align Shorts are my second go-to. I am almost swayed by Poolside... but $64!

I’m really liking the Dark Oxide color and decided to purchase the Tech Fleece 1/4 Zip Pullover. I’m not really a hiker but think I’d still wear it in the colder months up in the mountains here. I’m hoping to see more fun color combinations!
ReplyDeleteDark Oxide is really pretty and would look so nice with Pink Clay. I would want to grab something in that color for sure. Sometimes I do miss the colder temps from the north! Especially now that I'm melting down here, lol!
DeleteI enjoy hiking, but the hiking line is too rugged for my taste, lol. I prefer the Lulu pieces in my existing collection for both outdoor and indoor activities.

DeleteI ended up getting 3 pairs of shorts to try. I'm expecting to pick pair I like most and send the others back. I got the mint and the black drop-in pocket high rise 4" hiking shorts, each in a different size. I'm not sure about the split in the front. I wish it was straight across or maybe slightly less noticeable? I like the look of the shorts in the zip away pants, once the legs are zipped off, but not the pants themselves, haha!! I would have bought a short just like those if they offered them solo! I also got the black cargo shorts that loaded a few weeks ago. I need a deeper pocket for my phone when I go on shorter hikes and I don't want to carry a backpack or bag with me.
ReplyDeleteI added in the hiking skirt to try out. I wear some Athleta ones that are similar to work. Longer undershorts in a skirt when you teach little kids is a must! The Lulu ones have some cute details, so I hope it works out! But, for $98 plus tax, it's going to have to give me emoji heart eyes to be a keeper.
Hi Stacy! The hiking skirt is my favorite from the collection, then the zip away pants come in a close second. But $98 for the skirt, it has to be love! Report back on how you like it. I think it looks really sporty in black. I'm even tempted to try it. The rip away pants at $198? Yowza. That's a pass for me. But yes, the shorts look fantastic.
Deletehi Leslie, I didn't order anything from Lululemon, but the new Seasoft Wide Crop Pant from Athleta has caught my eye. I really like it in Tinsel Purple! If I come across a promo code, I'll have to order it.
ReplyDeleteHi Karen! I was looking at those Athleta Crops too! Did you see the tank? I am totally ordering both as a set to try. I think they both come in black, but I wouldn't mind a mix and match either. My only concern about the crop, is they look super wide and that tends to make me look shorter. =T
