Fit Review! Birdies The Starling Latte Suede

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. The Short Sweet and Sherpa Jacket arrived. I ordered both XXS and XS to try. The XXS was TOO short. Even on me and I have a fairly short torso. The XS fit better in terms of length and body, but the arms were way too poofy. I hope to have photos up soon to show both sizes. Since neither size is perfect, I'll be returning both. I don't think the full price is worth it, but if I see it on WMTM I might spring for the XS. I did like how warm and cozy it is and it is reversible. I actually liked how both sides looked. It's like two jackets in one. That said it's been super rainy and gloomy which is why I am unable to take photos today. That is why we have a review of Birdies in The Starling instead. I am always a sucker for nice packaging and right off the bat, the box these shoes came in definitely caught my attention. These are not the kind of shoe boxes I would want to throw away. They're just too pretty. Thes

My New Rothy's! & The Merino Collection

Happy Friday! My apologies for not having my usual Fit Review Friday up. I placed an order for the Short & Sweet Sherpa Jacket and Still Lotus Wrap Reversible . I hope to have reviews up next week. Lululemon just posted the ivory color for the  Short & Sweet Sherpa Jacket . I think I still prefer antique bark the most.  Today I have instead a review of my new Rothy's The Point in Tangerine Triple Stitch . This is my second pair of Rothy's in The Point. The tangerine triple stitch is a unique mix of orange, blue, and black which makes it look like a berry color at times. The texture of the knit always makes it feel apropos for fall.  The Point Enjoy $20 off your first purchase with code  WELCOME20 . For those of you new to Rothy's, they are a sustainable company that makes these shoes out of plastic bottles. I think that's amazing to be honest. I wouldn't think walking on plastic would be comfortable, but surprisingly these are very walka

Upload! October 8th 2019

What do you think of the  Short Sweet & Sherpa Jacket ? It's the only thing from tonight's upload that intrigues me. I'm having such a hard time deciding between the XXS and the XS. Wish Lululemon would stick to the number sizes. Since the jacket is cropped, it might be petite friendly. I have it in my cart in size XS, but I wonder if it will be too baggy in the arms. It also looks very soft. Anything for you? Short Sweet & Sherpa Jacket Heathered Antique Bark (I kinda love this, might have to order to try.) Boston / Newport Trip!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Here's a recap of my trip to Boston. Here's a little background story- before I got married, I lived in New York and my husband lived in Boston. So for three years we did the long distance thing. Every other week one of us would travel to see the other. After we got married I quit my job in New York and moved to Boston so we could be together. We came to the conclusion that a 600 square foot apartment for two adults and one cat was a bit cramped to say the least. I really didn't have anywhere to put my stuff. My husband reeeeeally misses Boston for a whole bunch of reasons, but housing affordability is not one of them.  Boston is super walkable and beautiful. One of our favorite things was to walk from his apartment to our favorite restaurants. We would do it during the fall/spring weather and cool summer nights. Lots of memories just walking hand in hand for hours. Like I said, while in Boston we walked about 9 miles a day
