Happy Friday! Last month some of you may remember I went to a soccer game. The stadium banned all bags or backpacks bigger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches. This is a new rule for every professional football stadium. They allow you to bring in your belongings in a clear plastic bag or in a clutch the size of your hand. If you didn't have one they made you check it in or did not allow you to go in at all. I opted not to bring a handbag with me and just carried my phone and wallet in my pockets. But I realized I should probably look into a clear purse for future events like this. I did some research and found a very pretty but very expensive Chanel bag that's made of PVC that retails for, I kid you not- a jaw dropping $3000. I'm not crazy or rich enough to drop that kind of money on a plastic bag but I do love how cute it is. This weeks upload is a big one. I'm still on a ban, but I love looking and adding items to my cart. I won't be checking out though. I have a niece! Luna Nova, born July 23rd. I haven't met her yet, but I'm so grateful for all the photos I receive by text messaging. I wish I could be there in person to take the photos myself! She has a big brother, Lucien Jake but we call him LJ. This is LJ, my sister Clara and Luna Nova. I hope that they call her Luna Nova instead of just Luna.  Here is my grandma meeting Luna Nova for the first time. That is about the happiest I've ever seen my grandma look in a long time. Just such bliss on her face! I really wish I could have been there to see this unfold in person. 2 week old Luna Nova and 95 year old great grandmother. Luna, her great grandmother and grandfather I'm not sure when I'll be able to head over to New York. Maybe Thanksgiving or Christmas. We'll see... I suppose I should decide sooner than later! For a few years, I was on a Nike ban. I couldn’t stand behind a company that gave an endorsement deal to Michael Vick after it was discovered he ran a dog fighting ring. But serving some time, he seemed to have turned over a new leaf having done things like lobbying Congress to pass a bill that made it illegal for people to even spectate animal fighting events. He also created a foundation to help families with the funeral costs for those killed in the Virginia Tech mass shooting.  With that, I felt I could go back to buying Nike products. I still haven't forgiven him, but I do think he's trying to make up for what he's done.  The problem is, I would be buying more Nike products if their site actually worked. Specifically the Hello Kitty collaboration they have going on with their Converse label.
