Fit Review Friday! SENI by Fit Rebel

Fit Rebel is a company that features traditional batik art on their leggings. Each design is hand painted and drawn by artists from Malaysia. When Fit Rebel reached out to me, I was instantly drawn to the Edgy Peacock leggings on their website.  *Disclaimer: These leggings are gifted to me from Fit Rebel in exchange for an honest review. Edgy Peacock   The intense colors on this beautifully painted peacock are breath taking in real life. I really love the blues, greens and yellows used on this piece. As someone who appreciates and studied the arts in college, I naturally gravitate towards pieces like these. It totally reminds me of this Oscar Wilde quote, "One should either be a work of art, or wear a work of art."  The fabric is super buttery and soft. It sort of reminds me of a softer and more stretchy version of Lululemon's nulux fabric. There is almost no compression to these leggings. I'm wearing a size small. For reference I'm

WMTM Update!

Looks like there was a decent amount uploaded today, but after perusing over the items, I found a few worth noting about. Cool Racerback Deep Breath $44 (I like this color but I have not tried this on, can anyone comment on the fit?) Cardio Squad Tank $49 Hotty Hot Short $29-$49 Wunder Under Crop Hi-Rise $69 Run Times Short $49 (I think this print is one of the better ones lately) Speed Short $49 (Of course the shorts went on sale after I bought them!) So nothing for me since I'm on a ban... JCrew is having another 25% - 30% off your purchase and I'm totally itching to buy another one of those Singlet bags , but I'll refrain. Tomorrow is Friday YAY! I made it though my second week of work. And I'm super happy to announce I'll have a fit review for you all tomorrow! Check back later tonight. I have to get some cardio in, some dinner and then I'll write up a new review. I'm pretty excited about this one. 😃

New Popflex Dark Blooms & Werkshop Tanks!

Popflex released more items from their dark blooms collection on Tuesday. My favorite is definitely the Pop Short 2.0. I mean how lovely is this print? This is right up my alley. Totally on my wish list!  Pop Short 2.0 Dark Bloom For those of you not on a ban, I'm typically a size 4 in their shorts. It's similar to Lululemon sizing. At least for me. You can also check out their other new items on their website .  Werkshop also just launched new tank tops for women and men! I'm only showing photos of the women's tanks since I don't think I have many male viewers, but in case you do want to buy something for the man in your life, check it out here . Left to right: Butterflies, Dark Sugar, Dreamcatcher and Flames Left to right: Huck, Juliet, Lovebirds, Octopus Panda and Remix   What do you think of the Werkshop tank? They are made out of micro mesh fabric that's super light weight. My two favorites are Flames and Dark Sugar. I&

Wow an upload on my birthday! Definitely wasn't expecting that. Sadly I'm on a ban, but I'll add a few items to my wish list and cross my fingers they don't sell out so I can order them in March. If you're not on a ban, I would love to know what you ordered. If you are on a ban with me and broke it, I would also love to know what you purchased! I'm trying to stay strong and started a wish list. It's my birthday!

So technically, I still have 9 minutes before I turn 36 years old. Close enough I say. Since this is a birthday post, I'll tell you a little bit about myself. Here's a fair warning, I'm not much of a writer and I pretty much write how I speak. When I was 11 years old, I met my husband. I actually don't remember the first time I met him, but he recalls exactly what I was wearing. My brother is actually the one who introduced us. One day my brother tells me, "Jared is coming over tomorrow after school, you'll like him." Hah, did I ever. I thought he was super cute. This photo was taken probably around the time he was 18 or so. He and my brother used to work at Gil Hodges Lanes in Brooklyn. That's the shirt he's wearing. This is one of the few photos he allowed to be taken of him. He's not a fan of cameras, which is unfortunate since I'm a photographer of sorts. This was taken a couple of years ago.  I think he's even c

WMTM & Random Musings

Not much of a WMTM update today, but a few things I'd like to mention. I surprisingly really like this yoga bag. I just don't have any real need for one! The Yoga Bag $39 The Yoga Bag $39 Ready To Rulu Turtleneck $59 So now that I have a full time job that requires me to actually dress up, and by dressing up I mean business casual. I've been looking at clothing that I could wear to the office and outside of the office. A turtleneck would work, but I think I would just get too hot and there's nothing worse than sweating and not able to take it off! But I love rulu and this definitely caught my eye. If you get cold easily this might be for you.  Layer Me Turtleneck $59 Here's another option. This one is even more work appropriate, it's more fitted.  Swiftly Racerback $44 How is everyone's week going? How is your frugal February going so far? I'm wrapping up my first week at my new job and my ban is going fantastic. I'm
