Upload! April 28th 2020

Lots of new items uploaded. Rakuten cash back is at 11% today! I haven't seen it that high in a long time. What does everyone think of the Ebb To Street Define Jacket? I kind of like the stone wash print in something small like a bra. This is definitely the most interesting upload I've seen in a long time. Nothing for me so far, but I may place an order soon for some more reviews. Does anyone have any requests? Leave me a comment below!

Has anyone tried this bra? I am looking for a new workout bra. I have worn Free To Be Wild Bras for the last 5 years or so and the straps are starting to irritate my shoulders. I wonder if it's because they're too tight now? I am not sure. I wear a size 6 in the FTBW bras and I don't think the size 8 would work on my frame. So I'm in the market for a new workout bra! If anyone has any suggestions, let me know. I've tried the Flow Y Bra in the past, and if I remember correctly, the straps were too long. If they made them adjustable I probably would have worn those too.

(Very pretty in this print.)

(Definitely interesting looking. Can't decide if I like it or not.)

(The back of this sweater is pretty.)

(Our friends in Canada got this item last week. Between the two colors available I definitely prefer this one!)

(I don't know how I feel about this? Reminds me of a painters clothing!)

  1. Not sure why they thought Chianti would be such a popular colour since they’ve put out a lot of items in it. I also do not like the watercolour washes or stone wash stuff. This clothing is not very pretty, actually quite the opposite I would say.

    1. I'm not a red person, so don't know either. Between the watercolor and the stone wash, I prefer the latter. The diamond dye is probably the nicest print they have right now though! How do you feel about diamond dye?

  2. After some thought, I decided that I like the LA Sweatpant in Watercolor Wash Lunar Rock and ordered it a a few days ago. I’m all about comfortable clothing and they just looked unique and I like the colors and thought I’d give them a try. I’ll let you know how they fit and look when I get them!

    1. They do look super comfy. I'm a little worried they may not be petite friendly. But I look forward to your review of them!

    2. Got them last night! I’m pleasantly surprised at how much I like them, the length is actually good for me and hit a bit above the bottom of my ankle. I probably could have sized down one size but since these are for lounging, I think the looser fit works. The material is super soft and comfortable. The color and print are a bit more subdued in real life, which I prefer. My Scuba hoodie in Wild Bluebell compliments the blue in these pants too! I’d say it’s a win. :)

    3. Wow that's quick shipping! I don't think I've ever asked, how tall are you? Inseam length? Totally sounds like a cute outfit.

    4. It was quick! I was surprised by that. Sometimes I get Lululemon deliveries within one business and sometimes it takes many days.

I’m 5’3” and my inseam is about 29 inches.

I saw the matching sweatshirt but I don’t like the way the neckline is cut so high, I’m really picky about necklines and I prefer to have a lower cut or a zip up.

  3. The Ebb To Street Tight Stone Wash Graphite Gray caught my attention and I thought oh it is a really nice print! Then I saw the same print on the Define and bra, neither of which impressed me at all. I guess for a print like this you wanna cherry pick the one you like in a store.

    1. You're right, it totally looks best on the tights! It looks the worst on the bra.

  4. Have you tried Coupon Cabin? I was recently introduced via the Reddit sub. It's like Rakuten but usually better! Right now, it's 13%, plus x% bonus cash, which depends on your account status.

    1. I have not! Good to know there are other options. Thanks! I'll check it out!

  5. I think the Ebb to Street Define looks cool but also kinda funky but that's what makes it cool. I have the Ebb to Street and honestly the straps stretch out soooo much I have to wear it way tighter and close to the tightest setting or it droops way too low throughout the day. I am also flat chested so it's not the girls dragging the straps down. I don't recommend it. I had the Awakening Bra from the Taryn Toomey collection and that was perfect but the seams busted and they replaced it with the Ebb to Street which doesn't compare :(

    1. I would like to add that tightening the strap or the Ebb to Street Bra, it does look super flattering and works as a bralette. So maybe for lounging and weights and not cardio.

    2. Thanks for your review! I will try the Ebb To Street Bra and the Rejuvenate Bra. Have a feeling the Rejuvenate won't really work, it looks too long, but we'll see.

We tried HelloFresh for the past two months - Here's our review

Hi everyone! This post is written by my husband. Some of you may know he does all the cooking around here. 😅 We noticed we were spending a lot of money on food and eating out every month and wanted to see if a meal kit service would save us money and time. After looking at a few meal kit services we settled on HelloFresh. Without further ado, here's Jared's review. (Original post date Aug 2022). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As you may have seen from Leslie's Instagram stories for the past 2 months, we've been using HelloFresh for most of our meals. The main drivers for this were to better track what we eat and because on the advice of my doctor, I should be eating more home cooked meals. Before I go any further, it should be noted that my original career path was in culinary arts, but twists and turns in life changed that. So I do have formal cooking experience. A little background story. Over the years, I've developed
