Fit Review! Patagonia Lunar Frost Jacket Century Pink

How was everyone's weekend? Always seems to go by so fast. When Sunday nights come around I dread thinking about having to wake up in just a few hours to go to work. I'm really not a morning person and never will be.

For this post I have a review of Patagonia's Lunar Frost Jacket in century pink. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and typically a size 4 in Lululemon's tops, size XXS or PXS in Athleta. For this jacket I am wearing size XS.

Patagonia's Lunar Frost Jacket Century Pink Size XS

I actually really love the fit and cut of this jacket. It has a nice slouch but doesn't look sloppy. It also fit me very comfortably. Not too big and not too small. There's even enough room for layering. The sleeves are long, but in a way that still looks cute. The fleece is soooooooo soft. I really love this jacket. However, I wasn't crazy about the color. I was hoping it would be more of a soft pink but it's more of a coral pink. I would have kept it if it was more like the Athleta's dogwood mauve.

Century Pink vs Dogwood Mauve

The length is short and doesn't cover your bum. I really wish I liked the color because this jacket is VERY petite friendly. If I had to do it again I would probably go with bearfoot tan or natural color. If you would like to give this jacket a try, Backcountry is offering a 20% off one item with code TAKE20WINTER and there's 8% cash back through Rakuten right now.

That's it for me! Hope you all have a great Monday!

  1. Did you see see that there is a girl's version of the Patagonia jacket? You might like the prima pink colour and it's only $99 (backcountry).

    1. I did see that, but the zipper is really wide on the jacket. I don't think it would look as good as the adult version.

    2. Very true, I didn't like the zipper much either.

  2. Wow that jacket is super cute and luxe! For the price (even though there's sales) I like the look of the LLL one. Did you see that Alo has sherpa as well? It looks sooo nice but pricey! I think Black Friday last year they had 30% off the store but buy at midnight cause stuff sells out. :P (I ended up returning my leggings cause I like LLL more.)

    2. Thanks but I'm a step ahead of you, already ordered it. It arrived yesterday and sad to say it will be going back as well... it isn't very petite friendly!

We tried HelloFresh for the past two months - Here's our review

Hi everyone! This post is written by my husband. Some of you may know he does all the cooking around here. 😅 We noticed we were spending a lot of money on food and eating out every month and wanted to see if a meal kit service would save us money and time. After looking at a few meal kit services we settled on HelloFresh. Without further ado, here's Jared's review. (Original post date Aug 2022). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As you may have seen from Leslie's Instagram stories for the past 2 months, we've been using HelloFresh for most of our meals. The main drivers for this were to better track what we eat and because on the advice of my doctor, I should be eating more home cooked meals. Before I go any further, it should be noted that my original career path was in culinary arts, but twists and turns in life changed that. So I do have formal cooking experience. A little background story. Over the years, I've developed
