Price Increases for US & Canada

I woke up this morning to bad news.  All Swiftly & Speed Shorts have gone up in price for US customers.  Over the last few days, we all knew this was going to happen, but it's still quite a shock.  Swiftly styles have all increased by $10.  I'm pretty much priced out at this point.  My cap is about $50 when it comes to tanks.  $60 if it's a short sleeve that I really like.  But from now on it looks like I have to wait for WMTM just so I can buy it for the original price.  Haha!  Now if only Lululemon would change its policy on sale items.  For the price tag, these sale items should be returnable.  Not final sale.  Am I right?

From $48

From $58

From $68

From $54

For Speed Shorts and Run Times Short, a $4 increase doesn't seem so bad.  But it's still $60 for a pair of shorts! (after tax it would be even more than that for most people).  I will have to really love the pair if I'm going to buy anymore.  It would have to fit perfectly with an amazing print placement.

From $54

As for Canada, I'm not overly familiar with Canadian prices but I do hear they have the same price increases along with Tight Stuff Tights which are now a whopping $158!  I don't know but I can't see myself ever spending that kind of money on a pair of tights.  My most expensive tights are from Carbon38 the Polonium Leggings and those cost me $128.  But I seriously love those leggings.

I admit it, I spend a lot of money on my Lululemon clothes.  They have not lost me as a customer, but from now on, I will be more selective about what I choose to buy and keep.

  1. You are totally right! Lululemon's return policy (or that is, lack thereof) is atrocious! The fact that it's a done deal when you get something online is totally bad customer servicein itself.

    1. Exactly! Buying finale sale online for $10 less than the original price is scary. I won't be doing that anymore unless I'm absolutely sure about the size and fit. And then if there's a print placement on top of that, it's a risk. Bah!

  2. One way you can circumvent getting ripped off on WMTM is by trying on the clothes in store before (and if) they get on WMTM and take note of what you really like in terms of sizing and fit and then when (and if) that item goes on WMTM, you'll know exactly what style and size you want so that you don't get stuck with their crappy policy.

We tried HelloFresh for the past two months - Here's our review

Hi everyone! This post is written by my husband. Some of you may know he does all the cooking around here. 😅 We noticed we were spending a lot of money on food and eating out every month and wanted to see if a meal kit service would save us money and time. After looking at a few meal kit services we settled on HelloFresh. Without further ado, here's Jared's review. (Original post date Aug 2022). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As you may have seen from Leslie's Instagram stories for the past 2 months, we've been using HelloFresh for most of our meals. The main drivers for this were to better track what we eat and because on the advice of my doctor, I should be eating more home cooked meals. Before I go any further, it should be noted that my original career path was in culinary arts, but twists and turns in life changed that. So I do have formal cooking experience. A little background story. Over the years, I've developed
