K-Deer Kids Sized Leggings! Alexis Stripe!

April 15, 2016

So I finally caved in and bought the Alexis Stripe leggings when I saw it was back in stock in my size.  Which is a size large in kids.  =)

I read the reviews on the women's sizes and I didn't think the XS would work on me since they have a very high rise.  I fear the waist would be closer to my chest than my belly button.  So I thought the kids version might fit me better.  Also the inseam on the women's leggings is ridiculously long.  32-34 inches.

And ta-da!  The kids leggings fit me perfectly.  The length of these is absolutely perfect.  I have a 26 inseam, which is very short.  The waist is stretchy and fits fine.  No muffin top or anything.  I did workout in them and sometimes the waist does roll down a little, but I can live with it.

If anyone wants to see full body shots leave me a comment, and I'll see what I can do.  May have to grab my husband or set up a make shift tripod somewhere in this house where there aren't boxes everywhere.  (we're still unpacking)

I may buy another pair of these, they are just so much fun!  I'm currently eyeing the Laura Stripe and if the Jennifer Stripe ones ever come back in stock they're mine.  Also the price is so much cheaper than the women's version!  $48 compared to $88 for the cropped version.

Update- Got the Jennifer Stripe.  Here's a modeling shot.

  1. I've been eyeing K-Deer leggings for awhile, and these look so fun! Do they offer free shipping and returns at all?

    1. Shipping is $5 I believe. And I don't think they do free returns. But they are very true to size. If you're in between sizes I would suggest to size up. They go on very tight kind of like panty hose, these do not slide on. But once they're on they fit like a glove!

    2. Hmmm, will need to think about it :/ I'd hate to order the wrong size and have to return! And I can't order both sizes if no free returns... Your pics and Agent Athletica's make them look super tempting though!!

    3. OH, your first order with them you can get a 10% off coupon when you sign up for their emails! That helps a bit with the shipping cost. =) But yeah, I lucked out getting my size right.

    4. Thanks! Trying to figure out sizing. If I'm a size 8 in lulu, with a 27 inch inseam on my pants, would a kids XL be too small? The inseam measurements seem perfect, but I don't know how much they would stretch 🤔

    5. I think the waist and inseam would be fine for you. I think it depends on how much hip you have? My hips are 33-34 inches, so i would say the max hip would probably be a 36 for kids in the size XL? They do stretch a bit.

  2. can you post a full length shot with these leggings? I'm a size 2/4 in lulu bottoms and am debating between kids size L and XL. for reference i'm 5'2", 107 lbs! Also, how is the compression? any muffin top issues? thanks!

    1. Hi there, I updated the post with a modeling shot. I'm strictly a 4 in almost all my Lulu bottoms. Rarely a 2. My waist is 26 hips 34 and the Large fits me pretty perfectly. I'm 4 feet 11 and 100 lbs. Not much compression but they do have to go on like panty hose. And no muffin top issues for me. Hope that helps!
